Prince William birthday - new photo

Kensington Palace have released a new photo of William and the children to mark his 42nd birthday. The photo was taken by Catherine.

Honestly I think this is one of my favourite photos of the family!

It's not the board that's crazy - it's some of the posters!!!

And WTF is wrong with that? William calls his father "papa" too?!! It's not a fucking dissertation!!

Why can't you understand that they have deliberately released a personal, informal snap, and they don't require your approval to do so?!!

Some people seem spectacularly lacking in understanding!!

He did, but he also said 'mama' in his televised address after the Queen's death.

The late Queen said 'mummy', I think, at least when she was young. But her father was 'papa'.

One sib called my parents Ma & Pa. Other 2 mum and dad or mother and father depending if they were irritating us at the time!

She definitely called the QM mummy in later life. I’ve seen a clip of them at the races where she is very animated watching one of their horses run and she calls her mother “mummy”

bouzy did give the royals a couple of hours off before he got involved. What makes me laugh is his American supporters questioning the beach like they go there every summer.

You would think at some point he would have a reality check and stop digging. His reputation is in shreds and I'm pretty sure the Sussexes are regretting having him on their Netflix show. No matter how angry Harry is I don't think he is on board with this sort of rubbish.

Most of that thread not worth bothering with, but someone has posted a clip of Charles and Anne as small children, leaping off those same dunes. And Charles in the voiceover saying he remembers it vividly. One of the late Queen's home movies, I expect; she was known to be a keen camerawoman.

It’s a lovely, happy and I think very natural photo.

Anyone else see George looking like a young Prince Andrew? ( Thats not an insult; he was easily the best looking when young).
