Why do Harry and Meghan tell porkies that are so easy to prove wrong?

Starting with the porkie that Archie wasn’t gonna be titled. Anyone who understands the Letters Patent would know that as long as the Queen was alive this was never gonna happen. I said this when watching the Oprah interview and I’m pretty appalled they told such an easily provable lie.

Then Harry said that daddy cut his security off. Anyone who knows about RAVEC knows it is independent of the Royal Family and Charles couldn’t do this if he tried. Same with “Only titled people get security” / this was so easy to prove wrong.

And why are there 2 versions of the proposal story. Did they think we wouldn’t notice? Is one a Hollywood version for their American audience?

The same with the ‘how they met’ story - in their engagement interview they said it was a blind date, to Netflix they met on Instagram.

I also was puzzled at her saying she never wore bright colours and that royal women could never wear the same colour as the Queen. It’s just nonsense. See below pictures.

Why do they do this? My theory is that everything they do now is for an American audience who are used to the reality TV narrative of “Some scenes have been created for entertainment” style TV and just accept their narrative as partly fictional, as long as it’s entertaining?

I think they spend a lot of time brooding on the wrongs that have been done to them and have a completely skewed view of how important they are in world terms. They don't have a role, and they're trying to carve out one as world leaders of a country of two (or four if you include their children). The sad thing is that if they'd bought a smaller house outright and aimed a lot lower in career terms, they might have been happy. Everyone would have loved seeing Meghan wearing pretty dresses to all the events they would be invited to. They could have worked with other people's foundations instead of trying to start their own with no staff, no agenda and no idea. They want to be in charge but they're not entrepreneurs or producers or very effective performers. They want to live like billionaires but they don't have the ability to do that. The wheels are going to come off, and badly.

There is also the story about them taking the miscarried baby and burying it in the garden/out of doors somewhere which seems very unlikely indeed.

@Makemydaypunk that's so funny, it was such a great show.. It really has stood the test of time, my teens have watched all the episodes.

Gabor Mate wrote a fairly successful book on ADHD and has tons of content in that area. It's in his own best business interest to diagnose as many famous people as possible with the condition.

🤣🤣🤣 not mumma or dadda or peppa, crocodile 😂

Crocodile?..That's a three~syllable word, obviously ..
Almost all babies start off with the babbling sounds of ''Mum-um-um-um'' or ''Da-da-da-''
They don't suddenly enunciate ''Crocodile''.

petermaddog · 28/05/2024 22:21

baby probably mimicking- see you in a while crocodile

I love Harry & Meghan. I think she’s a good match for him, and got him out of his toxic family, where they now have two children together in an affair-free marriage, and where he is completely adored by his MIL. Good on him.

Edit: he’s the spare. The past two generations of spares have ended in messy divorces, infidelities, and sex trafficking. I’m pleased he’s been able to carve his own way and create his own little family unit.

Blueroses99 · 28/05/2024 22:25

Another easy to prove lie is the narrative in Spare where he was informed of Queen Mothers death by courtiers over the phone while he was at Eton. He paints a cold, matter of fact conversation. However QM died at Easter so he wouldn’t have been at school. Furthermore he was on a ski trip with Charles and William which was in the press at the time. Charles got special dispensation from the Queen for them to travel home together. So that phone call can not have happened.

Yet here you are!
Why didn't you just ignore the post?
O.P doesn't want to prosecute Harry , why would she need to, unless he has wronged her in some criminal act?

No-one says they aren’t compatible or shouldn’t be happy. They removed themselves from the RF and the UK. Absolutely fine. The issue people have is that instead of living privately, as the reason given for getting out of the Establishment, they decided to go on a talk show to slate his family, very publicly. And went on to sell books doing the same. They knew the RF couldn't give their side of the story. Just an awful pair of narcissists.

OlympicPimples · 28/05/2024 22:32

Didn’t MM claim she’d never heard of Harry, or didn’t know who he was?
Then a photo turns up of her outside Buckingham Palace…
Given the press saturation of Charles, Diana, their divorce and her death, and “those poor boys” MM would have had to have lived on Jupiter to have missed who Harry was!
A bizarre thing to say!

IsoldeWagner · 28/05/2024 22:32

I'd forgotten some of these Sussex Porkies - although some I didn't know in the first place! The dancing in the streets of South Africa is genuinely hilarious! Also such an outrageous lie I'm kind of admiring her gall.

So why do they feel the need to lie and lie and then lie some more? Lies which are so easily proven to be absolute fantasies that it’s baffling why they go to the bother of telling them. People who are content in their lives don’t usually do that.

Maybe he misremembered and it was Princess Margaret’s death.

I love spotting the sane intelligent functioning
people.

I find there are usually rather more of them on threads such as these.

Princess Margaret was involved in sex trafficking?!

Well, the poor chap seems to have misremembered an awful lot of stuff.

Abouttimeforanamechange · 28/05/2024 22:38

Yes, that one was easily spotted. I remember that the QM died at Easter. However, I do wonder if he was getting it mixed up with the death of Princess Margaret, which was a few weeks earlier when he would have been at school. I wonder if anyone suggested fact-checking Spare?

Didn’t MM claim she’d never heard of Harry, or didn’t know who he was?

Some of her friends said she was very interested in the wedding of William and Catherine. She couldn't have missed seeing Harry there.

IsoldeWagner · 28/05/2024 22:40

I wonder what would happen if they were confronted about all the lying?
Would they both collapse on a heap on the floor, sobbing, or would they just give out jars of jam.

somethingwickedlivesnextdoor · 28/05/2024 22:42

@BlueJamSandwich - It's a fairly common last word.

😂😂😂

Thedom · 28/05/2024 22:45

Oh and don't forget their 2 year old looking into her Mom's eyes 'I see me in you, mama'.

Princess Margaret was involved in sex trafficking?!

Both Margaret and Andrew had chaotic relationships and divorces. Andrew was involved in sex trafficking and a disastrous friendship with Epstein and Maxwell.

Maybe he misremembered and it was Princess Margaret’s death.

That hadn’t occurred to me, they were very close together, within a few weeks I think, so it’s possible. But if he has mixed up the two events, it begs the question of what else has he misremembered?! What other inaccuracies have been presented as facts?
