The royal family

Why do Harry and Meghan tell porkies that are so easy to prove wrong?

Starting with the porkie that Archie wasn’t gonna be titled. Anyone who understands the Letters Patent would know that as long as the Queen was alive this was never gonna happen. I said this when watching the Oprah interview and I’m pretty appalled they told such an easily provable lie.

Then Harry said that daddy cut his security off. Anyone who knows about RAVEC knows it is independent of the Royal Family and Charles couldn’t do this if he tried. Same with “Only titled people get security” / this was so easy to prove wrong.

And why are there 2 versions of the proposal story. Did they think we wouldn’t notice? Is one a Hollywood version for their American audience?

The same with the ‘how they met’ story - in their engagement interview they said it was a blind date, to Netflix they met on Instagram.

I also was puzzled at her saying she never wore bright colours and that royal women could never wear the same colour as the Queen. It’s just nonsense. See below pictures.

Why do they do this? My theory is that everything they do now is for an American audience who are used to the reality TV narrative of “Some scenes have been created for entertainment” style TV and just accept their narrative as partly fictional, as long as it’s entertaining?

I have no doubt @IdoldeWagner 😚

That hadn’t occurred to me, they were very close together, within a few weeks I think, so it’s possible. But if he has mixed up the two events, it begs the question of what else has he misremembered?! What other inaccuracies have been presented as facts?

Plus this was actually written in a book, it wasn't a random memory on a chat show.

Mylovelygreendress · 28/05/2024 22:53

@Chatonette “ I think she’s a good match for him, and got him out of his toxic family”

That’ll be the so called toxic family that they didn’t want to leave ? You forgotten about their grandiose statement in January 2020? Google it - priceless.
Half in / half out - ring any bells ?

Blueroses99 · 28/05/2024 22:59

According to Spare, Eton was founded by Harry’s many times great grandfather Henry VI. Henry VI’s only son predeceased him before he had any children so that’s impossible. (Harry is descended from Henry VII but he isn’t the founder of Eton). A fact checker would definitely have helped to avoid such inaccuracies.

Oh and don't forget their 2 year old looking into her Mom's eyes 'I see me in you, mama'.

I thought it was meant literally, the kid saying she could see her own reflection in Meghan’s eyes. 😂 Next time I see my 3yo niece, I shall ask if she can see herself in my eyes.

BemusedAmerican · 28/05/2024 23:25

@Blueroses99 Rumor has it that William really received only one sausage, not two. 😁

AmIbeingTreasonable · 28/05/2024 23:40

You can tell when those 2 are lying, their lips are moving! 🙄

Everything H & M has said has turned out to be true. When you take snapshots of everything and don't look at the whole story instead of just believing the British trash media, then you are going to be suckered into the media agenda.

One example is that the private wedding is true. It's a common thing to do in the U.S. Link below.

I'm going to give you a briefing (copy & paste) of the usual responses to this I get, as my only responses are below. Then I'm out of here.

I don't waste my time arguing with people who just want to slag them off and don't look at the whole story.

1/ I bet none of you who dislike them have read SPARE in its entirety. You will say you have. If you read that book, you would know they haven't told "porkies"

2/ If you watched all the Netflix series, you would know they were telling the truth.

3/ Racism: it started from the week H & M went public with their relationship. Comments about "exotic blood" and "almost straight out of comment" continued. H released a statement at 6 weeks to the press about it, telling them to stop. Then, the monkey picture after Archie was born and continuing.

4/ The media salaciousness to wreck the wedding by dragging Thomas Markle into it. He admitted that last year, the media said they wanted to stop the wedding.

5/ M has nothing to do with her Dad and 2 half siblings. Her dad played with the media. Do you think the RF would allow that.

I don't care what you think about what your daughter has done. You do not do what he did and talk to the press. Would you do it?

As for her 2 half siblings. Gutter trash. The brother has been in prison for armed robbery and domestic violence and has recently been seen in YouTube vids being racist.

Incidently, M is still in touch with her other family on her dad side. Cousins, etc. Thomas Markle doesn't bother with his other grandchildren.

6/ H & M never said the RF were racist. They said unconscious bias. That is different. It was the press who twisted it.

7/ The wedding: I've covered at the beginning. Link below

8/ The comments were concerns, not I wonder - about skin colour. Morgan outed who they were.

Morgan and Wooton, gross as they are both, said before the media was ordered to turn on them that the RF were racist.

9/ It was Kate that made Meghan cry.

10/ There is plenty of research evidence that H & M were subject to daily extreme racism from the public as well. Many were prosecuted. Look it up. It's there to be seen.

11/ Security was pulled by Charles, and why - read SPARE properly

12/ The media have admitted the leaking was coming firstly from BP, and then KP added on when all the rumours started about W affair. All to deflect from them onto H & M.

13/ H & M are much loved around the world, and they have a far larger following in the U.K than you realise.

14/ Take some time out to research properly more decent balanced media, like Byline and radio presenters like JOB

15/ As for H & M telling their story. Why shouldn't they. Everyone else is making up cr*p about them and divulging through "Royal sources" = royal family. The thousands of articles and books written about them by people who barely know them say it all

16/ The twisted truths and lies were going on about H before he met M. No one is saying they are perfect. No one is. However, the RF has played a massive part in this.

I could cover alot more areas however I've given you the general jist for you to moan, bitch and slate me off over. Enjoy! Over and out

😂😂😂

amazingly ND folk can usually identify other ND folk, we tend to flock together just like you neurotypicals. It's kinda insulting to insinuate that we shouldn't be permitted seek each other out. still whether Harry is ND or not, he's still a bitter, entitled manchild

I love Harry & Meghan. I think she’s a good match for him, and got him out of his toxic family, where they now have two children together in an affair-free marriage, and where he is completely adored by his MIL. Good on him.

Edit: he’s the spare. The past two generations of spares have ended in messy divorces, infidelities, and sex trafficking. I’m pleased he’s been able to carve his own way and create his own little family unit.

Edited

Same! Hear hear!

I find threads like this so mean spirited. Like I’m no fan of the royals generally but wouldn’t make a thread slagging of Kate or William for example.

I’m in awe.

Your last sentence is a thing of beauty.

Thedom · 28/05/2024 23:57

Easy to forget all the threads slagging off Catherine when all she did was announce she had abdominal surgery and would be out of action for a few months.

Hahaha! Very good!

No cries of mean spirited when that was happening.

@Rippledipple So you repeatedly said that PH had declared he was ND but now you're saying he just said 'thank you' to someone who unethically diagnosed him in an interview (one which he now regrets). I think the link I shared stated PH said "ok, should I accept that or do something about it" to which GM replied "You can do what you want with it"

And now you're 'if Harry is ND' despite being, lets put it politely, determinedly snippy to posters who questioned your post... ??

Edited

Repeatedly, I posted once, got questioned and provided the evidence as requested. Admittedly I had not done a full fact check before first post. Notwithstanding, the information I shared was in the main correct, he had been 'diagnosed' with ADHD and as it was done publicly, I guess anyone is entitled to question that. This was information many on this thread seemed unaware of so I'm delighted to have enlightened you.

It does not change the fact the tone of some responses were downright rude. I suspect some posters get a little carried away with their own vitriol. If I inadvertently offend someone, I apologise. It's the decent thing to do. I see it is not the done thing on these threads which seems to champion hate. I feel grubby having even entered into the conversation tbh 🫤

LumpiBolleaux · 28/05/2024 21:36

If indeed Harry is ND…

That ‘if’ is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

Bit of a change from the absolute statement before.

You do know I'm not massively invested in this. As far as I'm aware he has ADHD - I'm going on what is out there in the public domain. I see that has been questioned - good! I haven't seen his medical records or anything. I don't work for him. I'm not a fan. I don't even care but Christ I feel for him - you lot are off the scale, seriously! I'm not kidding this isn't good for any of you let alone them.

are you under the impression you’re the only ND person on this thread?? Who has said you can’t seek each other out? What is it about Harry that makes him ND?

Actually you said “ADHD - he's said so in an interview” which is untrue, so you didn’t provide evidence. You did have a rather strange silk at which you demanded random posters who pointed out your error apologise to you.

LumpiBolleaux · 29/05/2024 01:13

I haven’t said you or anyone else is massively invested.

You made a statement that has been questioned. That is all.

And you can button it with the ‘you lot’. We are all capable of independent thought and just because some call out bullshit when we see it does not make anyone ‘off the scale’.

For your information, you have no idea about what is good for me or anyone else here so off you pop with your sweeping generalisations.

Doubling down when a statement is challenged just makes folk look twice as daft.

It is an art that I cannot celebrate but I do appreciate it. If only for the laughs.

LumpiBolleaux · 29/05/2024 01:18

I do love the ‘I’m not a fan/I don’t care/I don’t even like them’ statements.

Because Christ, they always have similar opinions and ever such a lot to say.

You know, for someone who doesn’t care…

Ottika · 29/05/2024 01:21

Lol at this thread title, how crushingly immature. How bored or how drunk would one have to be to even care about such trivial shite?

Long live the proletariat!
