Even if they're pulled, people will start new ones. It will blow over. Now the announcement has been made there will be no more 'new news' for people to get their knickers in a knot about.

Yes people are allowed to talk but there are at least 15 different threads all clearly started by people who couldn't wait to check if someone else had posted! I agree one thread is fair enough.

When king charles was sick with cancer, people were talking about it on threads on here.

If they MUST discuss someone they don't know who has cancer, and how upset they are personally, then it needs to be at least kept under Royal Family, not span Chat, AIBU, Cancer and Royal Family. At least if it's kept to one topic all the people who aren't emotional vampires can block that section off.
