Even now there are vile posters wallowing in the Catherine news. Please don’t give them an outlet.

Seconded. This board has become toxic. I’d pull the whole thing.

Agreed. I wonder if all those gossips and thoughtless speculators are happy with themselves now?

Ratsoffasinkingsauage · 22/03/2024 18:37

@MNHQ Not sure you see this unless we tag you. Please take it all down.

Report
Fallenangelofthenorth · 22/03/2024 18:38

Couldn't agree more. They're like bloody vultures. Absolute disgrace, the lot of them.

I do feel that the news management by Kensington Palace has been utterly abysmal, and has fostered this speculation, but I agree: best to take it all down now, please, @MNHQ

One thread possibly under Royal family ifvv bc there has to be one, maybe one under Mental Health if blanket coverage affects individuals already affected by MH or cancer themselves.

Otherwise threads to go. This is someone’s private business.

I have reported all threads and asked MNET to remove all of them. Comment is just inappropriate.

I completely disagree. People are allowed to talk about someone's illness.

Report
Salemforcuddles · 22/03/2024 18:43

Agreed, now some vile posters are speculating on the type of cancer and treatment, enough is enough

Report
TheTripThatWasnt · 22/03/2024 18:44

Even if they're pulled, people will start new ones. It will blow over. Now the announcement has been made there will be no more 'new news' for people to get their knickers in a knot about.

Report
putonyourwarpaint · 22/03/2024 18:45

Yes people are allowed to talk but there are at least 15 different threads all clearly started by people who couldn't wait to check if someone else had posted! I agree one thread is fair enough.

Report
Sashamalia · 22/03/2024 18:45

What on earth is wrong about talking about someone who has cancer?

When king charles was sick with cancer, people were talking about it on threads on here.

Why is it different with kate?

Sashamalia · 22/03/2024 18:42

I completely disagree. People are allowed to talk about someone's illness.

If it was your daughter or sister or indeed you, would you like it??
People like you are sad individuals devoid of morals.
Enough is enough. Pull the whole load of threads on this.

I completely disagree. People are allowed to talk about someone's illness.

If they MUST discuss someone they don't know who has cancer, and how upset they are personally, then it needs to be at least kept under Royal Family, not span Chat, AIBU, Cancer and Royal Family. At least if it's kept to one topic all the people who aren't emotional vampires can block that section off.
