Hello 👋, I thought it might be nice to have a thread we can discuss our cheesy feelings, food delights and general discourse about the royal family.

Everything seems like yesterday to me @ArcaneWireless , except yesterday itself that seems to have popped up entirely uninvited and rather aggressively I might add! 😭🤣🤣

I really enjoyed its a royal knockout!!!!!!
Granted I was a youngun at the time and really liked it's a knockout generally but still there you are !!! I remember Ann in her silly hat , the men in the knickerbockers , fergie bashing people with a padded long implement!!
All of it!!!

Poor Edward - he really did come across as a bit of a twerp in that. But how many of us have done stuff as youngsters we'd be so embarrassed about now.

Goodness me, yes, there are any number of things I would hate to have known about me these days (and a fair few things I have never told DD 😂)

He did ! But luckily they didn't show that bit at the time , so it didn't mar my youthful enjoyment! 🤣

In a constitutional monarchy the role of the RF is to be fairly boring and uncontroversial - and create opportunities, like Charles in the 'hero of cheese' article 😀to identify an issue and get people together to tackle it and find a constructive way forward that meets everyone's needs.

Exactly. Plus - you don't have to be perfect, because everyone makes mistakes. All this judging the royals if they make an error therefore deserve vile language and offensive posts is just ludicrous. Also cruel.

To hark back to Charles the cheese hero 😂it also shows the value of some of that behind the scenes work that so often gets ridiculed

Only some things are not worthy of redemption - the rest we just puddle on and do the best we can and hope that folk can accept us as we are.
