So Harry flew for 11 hours and then spoke to his father for 45 minutes ? Charles then bobbed to Sandringham by helicopter and Harry checked into a hotel. I mean wouldn't you think Harry would have gone to Sandringham with Charles maybe ?

Why do people pretend like they know what’s going on? Harry may yet spend lots of time with his father if he’s staying or he may not see him again. He may have been asked to come or not. He may be being dramatic or it may be Charles has been given weeks to live. Maybe Charles is racist, maybe not. We have no clue about any of it.

After the things Harry has said about both William & Catherine, why on earth should he. Plus you'd never be able to relax in Harry's company wondering if your conversation - or a variation of it - was going to be repeated on TV or another book. The trust will be gone

I’m a migrant on the other side of the world. These situations are the worst when you’re so far away. If I had the cash I’d drop everything and fly straight away too. Because I have a job and funds that actually do have a limit, when we get bad news as a family we have to work out when we’re going to fly back and for how long. For us, the deciding factor has usually been when the person will need the most care/support. Because we’re limited.

i can’t imagine feeling annoyed that someone else isn’t so constrained.

The Royal Correspondents on tv this morning are playing it down. Apparently the press release claimed The King was tired after a procedure the day before. He had clearly already planned to return to Sandringham (where he had been at the weekend) and the helicopter needed to fly in daylight?
I should imagine Harry was pretty tired too after long flight and with the time difference!

He probably came to make sure that Charles ‘has the right people around him’ as he did for the late Queen.
It smacks of attention seeking to me, probably needs more content for his next book/interview / whatever?

I imagine Harry rushing over and the media focus was the last thing Charles wanted right now, he’s literally made his father’s illness about him. He could Easily habe planned to come over in a few months . Bring the kids, not made this about his cancer and harry being the Knight in shining armour doing the mercy dash.
