I think the point is, if you haven’t heard of Omid Scobie and his new book (as I hadn’t, until I read this thread), then you’re probably on the wrong thread.

I knew there has been some gossip involving allegations of racism against senior Royals, but I didn’t know any of the details.

This thread has been enlightening.

It did actually occur to me that things had gone very quiet on the H&M (I also thought the store) front, and that surely something must be brewing, for fear of them slipping into obscurity.

The two of them could be an actual force for good in this world, going out of their way to completely disassociate themselves from the Royal Family. Making their own name for themselves, and a positive difference.

But instead, they’re a continual negative presence, leeching from their Royal connection. Offering up nothing.

And they expect this to win them friends and fans.

Are they really that stupid, or is there something else at play? And what does their increasingly diminishing pool of fans like about them?

Friends are disowning them more like. Just read Meghan and Harry not invited to the Duke of Westminster's wedding. William And Kate are both invited. They are being frozen out.

Why would anyone invite them?

oddly the daily fail is reporting that Megan felt she should have more of a voice than Kate, as she had a career, and didn’t wish to play second fiddle to her and William, and thought she could teach the royals a thing or two about philanthropy

I say oddly as for the first time in a long time reading the mail. I think it sounds true. I recall harry in the docu series going on about how Megan was going to show the monarchy how it was done, throw out all the old traditions, and start new ones. I recall watching it and thinking that’s so arrogant, thinking Megan , an actress, and not one of note, would be in a position to rework the British monarchy.

They are friends with both the brothers. Now if your in that society and want to keep your status of course you are going to pick the king queen and William. Not to mention if they had invited Harry and megahn instead the entire press would be all over the wedding in a nasty way just to get pictures since they make alot of money with clickbait articles of them it would be a goldmine.

Somewhere else it says one of Harry’s other friends has invited them for Xmas. They also have lots of other invites in the US. I feel that information is being fed to the Press as PR once again. If true. Yah boo sucks to someone methinks.

If they have collaborated with scobie, and then turn on him publicly. Scobie can reveal the truth that it all came from them, and do a lot of damage, it’s very clear why they’ve not spoken out against him. They can’t risk Scobie telling the world what they did.

He’ll have kept the paper trail too.

I suspect that Scobie has a stack of stuff he would expose if the Sussexes turned on him, just as Meghan claims she could write a book too.

Just read Scobie's agent did send a manuscript with the names in it to the translator. Who put in the names. Not me Guv. Looking more like a publicity stunt to me. The royals need to sue IMHO. Put a stop to this nonsense. Or else its going to go on for years.

That's the point, @ALittleTeawithmilk - it could be anyone. It's such a general, vague, yet damning accusation.
Piers Morgan is good friends with Beatrice and Eugenie. I saw pictures of him embracing Eugenie outside a restaurant, quite recently.
Dan Wootton has claimed many things, so who knows. Ultimately, this book seems to be about harming the royal family, and it seems to be gunning for Kate in particular - so who would benefit from that?

maybe because my family is small, with Limited extended family for my own child, that it makes me realise, that Archie and Lilly are growing up without grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins. They only have Doria.

sure they occasionally do a video call with Charles, very occasionally, but they are strangers. Charles hasn’t even met Lilly, We saw at a concert how little Louis went and sat on Charles’s knee, without being asked, so he’s clearly a hands on grandparent close to the kids.

Not necessarily. Kate Middleton hasn't publicly disowned her mother who was actually named as a source by Camilla Tominey has she? Kate and William haven't disowned their staff who have briefed against other family members either, nor have Charles and Camilla. The whole lot of them are constantly gossiping and trying to get one over everyone else, they're far worse than the Kardashians. That's if Meghan and Harry even had anything much to do with it, the names seem to have been common knowledge.

Anyway, why shouldn't they be named? The family is publicly funded (unlike Meghan and Harry). They should remember that and behave themselves instead of being constantly embroiled in scandals and they're just the ones we hear about.
