The trailer for 'Heart of Invictus" has been released by Netflix, and it looks incredible, and so moving.

For those interested, please find it here.

Yep!

Toe the line. Never criticise. Then use your royal connections in whatever way you want.

Look at Zara and Mike for instance. There is no way they would've made a six figure sum selling pics of their first baby without being a Royal ! That's just for starters...

seems there is one rule for Harry and another for other royals.

Yes, I think there is, because it's a hierarchy, and he's on a different rung to everyone else.

🤣so it’s ok to talk about the Royal Family in podcasts and on chat shows and in books and to cash in on royal connections by merchandising products but only if they are uniformly positive and don’t leave. And people object to calling them a cult 🤣

People ridicule Sarah Ferguson all the times for doing this, though. People also dislike Mike Tindall for becoming a reality tv show habitual (although plenty of his fellow Rugby World Cup winning team have gone likewise - he at least is not solely trading on his royal connections ). The question should perhaps be why can’t people ridicule Harry and Meghan for the same conduct?

No he isn't on a different rung he just keeps throwing them all under the bus and then in the next breath cash in on his royal status. He's all over the place.

You can't be all snippy about the rf then expect a round of applause for being related to them.

The reason I say he's on a different rung, is because I was thinking of rungs line this:

Monarch (Charles)
Direct Heir (william)
Direct Heir's Heir (George)
Direct Heir's other DC (Charlotte and Louis)
Monarch's other DC (Harry)
Monarch's other DC's DC (Archie and Lili)
Former monarch's other DC (Anne, Andrew, Edward)
Former monarch's other DC's DC (Peter, Zara, Beatrice, Eugenie, Louise, James)
... and so on

There is a ‘thanks’ symbol in the same area at the bottom of each post amongst ‘reply bookmark save report’ . I think it means you can send thanks to a poster but it won’t show up publicly. I’m not sure.

But I know I’m going to accidentally hit it while scrolling on my iPhone. I accidentally bookmark posts often. Also often hit the ‘report’ button accidentally. And have to navigate back to the thread, Not sure if this is going to work for me at all. I’ll just confuse people. 😆

PrincessTigger · 04/09/2023 10:59

MT is famous independently of the RF because of his rugby career and podcast

ALittleTeawithmilk · 04/09/2023 10:59

yeah, I just checked - a ‘hidden gratitude button’

MT uses being married to a royal to his financial benefit. He also talks about the RF on his podcast, just like Sarah Ferguson does on hers.

MissElinorDashwood · 04/09/2023 11:07

This thread has descended into Harry bashing AGAIN. It’s actually pathetic how some people can’t control their hatred. Honestly, if my child displayed the same level of obsessiveness for someone she disliked, I would be ashamed of her behaviour and blame myself for failing her.

I don’t know what’s being achieved here. If you want to put people off from supporting the Royals, you’re going about it the right way.

Can you please just continue this conversation in the new threads specifically opened to propagate anti Harry sentiment? This isn’t the thread to do that.

Thanks so much.

ALittleTeawithmilk · 04/09/2023 11:08

Right back at you @Roussette . But apparently only the person receiving the thanks can see. No one else.

He maybe does but he was successful in his own right. So his after dinner speeches will be because of his rugby career not because of who his inlaws are.

Oh I'm sure you could announce it on thread, so 'thankyou ..... for all your thankyous!'. I can see it happening on these threads, i mght start it offGrin

PrincessTigger · 04/09/2023 11:11

His podcast (which I listen to!!) is 99.99999% rugby. Occasionally they talk about what’s going on in their lives and Hask & Payne might ask about some royal event that went on. It’s a rugby podcast though, it’s not successful for royal tidbits they are few and far between! It also has a successful Aussie spinoff with 0 members of the RF.

ALittleTeawithmilk · 04/09/2023 11:12

I would never have heard of Mile Tindal if he hadn’t married a royal.

Harry was a soldier for 12 years. That’s a career about as long as a football career - give or take.

PrincessTigger · 04/09/2023 11:13

He is famous if you follow rugby, a world cup winner.

Of course. He had a rugby career.

Not sure how selling pics of his firstborn to OK for six figures quite fits into that though

feel free to thank me 😂

ALittleTeawithmilk · 04/09/2023 11:17

oh this is going to be fun @Roussette

SapatSea · 04/09/2023 11:17

Does the Invictus Charity get money from the documentary?

Roussette · 04/09/2023 11:19

Very astute of MNHQ to make it invisible to everyone but the poster concerned. It would be carnage otherwise 🤣

Well people do here every day. The point @skullbabe was clearly making was that the same treatment, several threads a day for years on end, isn't dished out for the others, just Harry and Meghan.

Yes, it is also a producer and Harrys fee is being given to it also.
