The trailer for 'Heart of Invictus" has been released by Netflix, and it looks incredible, and so moving.

For those interested, please find it here.

You've ignored the part where the Invictus Games Foundation will benefit from executive producing the show.

More info from their direct site - Invictus Games Foundation

The Invictus Games and the Foundation will continue to grow from strength to strength. I'm glad for it.

Also, please don't be discouraged by the dislikes and comments. Give it a watch if you're inclined. I'm looking forward to it.

Well plenty of royal reporters have confirmed this is where williams phone hacking money went. They are briefed by the palace because the clue is in the name. The royal foundation put money into the startup.

So was it an official palace statement? No it wasn't.The royal reporters report on the royals, they aren;'t their official spokespeople. They are members of the press.

jeffgoldblum · 25/08/2023 11:43

I've just seen the trailer on YouTube , the comments are brutal!

How do you see the dislikes? They don't show them any more, do they?

Iwantcakeeveryday · 25/08/2023 12:01

Most of the disgusting pathetic comments are about Meghan, so that shows you the mentality and motivation of those people or bots commenting. Its so awful to tarnish a wonderful event like this. Utterly disgusting.

I would love it if this thread didn't focus on the hate people have left which just insults everyone involved.

beatan · 25/08/2023 12:03

Personally, I don't have the stomach for comments so I wouldn't be reading them. Netflix probably feels that engagement is engagement so they'll leave it all up.

It was the same for their docu-series which ended up with a large viewership.

I hope this performs well too, it's more deserving.

These "royal reporters" are also on twitter, spreading lies and negative/hateful comments about Harry, and especially Meghan. I guess we're all selective as to what we believe on Twitter and what is BS or bots.

Royal reporters are selected journalists who have access to genuine royal news and are briefed by the palace officials.

I know this. They do not however necessarily report 100% accurate truth and as I have said, there is ZERO evidence or official statements provided by the palace regarding any settlement even being received or what he did with it. This is why Harry objects to them being called 'royal' reporters as it gives them some kind of validity when all they are is tabloid or other journalists with some access to who they write about. They write a lot of utter bullshit too. If you believe everything you read, then there isn't much point discussing this further, especially as you've provided no evidence.

jeffgoldblum · 25/08/2023 12:37

@Ivyusername , I was fairly shocked at the amount, mostly about Harry ! And that it was from worldwide too ! True the U.K. and the US are responsible I believe for most but it was other countries too!
On here I was led to believe that more people were favourable towards them.

Iwantcakeeveryday · 25/08/2023 12:41

Social media is not a representation of the population though, thank god. Most people aren't online, and most people with nice things to say don't bother. I would say that a vast majority of comments on anything are negative these days, its a real shame. Politicians are the worst at thinking twitter represents their electorate. It really does not.

jeffgoldblum · 25/08/2023 12:47

I've never been on twitter , I only looked at YouTube because of the op .

Your not wrong @Ivyusername , I'm always amazed at the name calling and aggressive attitude I see online!
I normally steer well clear! 🫣

I wouldnt trust ' Royal reporters'. They are fed what the Palace wants them to know, and know that if they report something unfavourable to the Palace they won't get the gossip leaked to them by Palace officials. Most of their ' news reporting' is made up conjecture.
Of course Netflix only cares about money. They are a money making organisation. Just like the tabloids don't really care about the Royals. They write what will make them the most money at the time. If it is sanctifying William and Kate against Meghan and Harry or Charles and Camilla they will do it, and vice versa. The Royals know that the minute the press gets bored of Harry and Meghan it's open season on them.

A man who I followed some years ago on instagram ( I never really liked other forms of SM but pics I can just scroll through ) he's a public person and shared his wedding video YouTube link so I watched it and went to leave a 'Congratulations, beautiful wedding' type comment and OMG it was awful. He's not even hugely famous but some comments were made about his wife's weight and how he could get someone who was an athlete like him with a good body. Can you imagine doing that to someones wedding video? They only shared it to help their friend who took the video. They had to remove it and she wrote a post on Instagram saying she didn't want anyone chasing them down. I am not a big SM user and am an old bag so I just was not aware thats what happened until then. I have seen worse now but that one stuck with me.
