Y’know when the Daily Mail or any other tabloid runs a random story it’s actually about something else and they’re trying really unsubtley to tell you? (Ie Ryan giggs of many affairs being painted as a loving husband with snaps of him looking absolutely miserable shortly before the affairs broke)

I think it’s the royals way of saying the affair rumours are bollocks. Despite the originator of the story admitted he made it up, so many people are adamant it’s true saying that the POW and Rose Hanbury clearly fell out so there’s truth. So by positioning them as friends, it’s insinuating that they are aware if the rumours and this is the rebuttal without coming out and saying anything.

um they are saying that Catherine was at a dinner party with Rose and David at their house and friends at that dinner party persuaded her to go to that festival. That's all.

Don't tell me you believed that stupid rumor from five years ago without any evidence.

Even after Kate's sister who she is very close to named her baby Rose last year.

Seriously the PoW attended a posh festival. She's got to the point where her kids are in school and she's feeling more up for a bit of fun like plenty in their 40s do.

In the Crown the Queen decides to accept her husbands' infidelity with Penny Knatchbull and realised to squash rumours it was necessary to be seen with her.
