I think they were so keen to create archewell as a brand (once Sussex royal had been effectively kiboshed) that someone might have failed to note to jarring tone in using it for both commercial and charitable purposes. Other foundations (eg bill and Melinda gates / Cham-zuckerberg/ Buffett/ Obama foundation, or even the Royal Foundation) are a bit more straightforward on naming, but H&M couldn’t or didn’t want to use “d and duchess” when they were back in the “call me Harry” era.

Archewell is a mix of for profit and not for profit. There's Archewell Audio and I believe Archewell Productions.
They have several companies registered in Delaware so I don't know why they gave these two media divisions the Archewell name.
There's probably a very obvious reason.

If I was cynical, I'd believe it was done purposely so , people would confuse the charity with the business.

But was there really lots of stuff cut from Book one? He may have said it but I don’t think it’s necessarily true because all he does is make mountains out of molehills. I didn’t read it but I didn’t need to as all the ‘juicy’ stuff was highlighted and it was really nothing much to make a fuss about. The worst things in the book was his body count reference, his weird mummy issues and his obsession with his ‘todger’ (makes me feel 🤢 just typing that). I doubt he left the better stuff out.

They are both full of wind and hot air. A radical rebrand is what they need (god knows as what) as no one wants to hear any more regurgitated family non-dramas. They really do have to drop the family back stabbing once and for all as they’re embarrassing themselves. Go open a vineyard and make exclusive wine or something that has zero to do with the RF. Time for them to stand on their own two feet.

@willWillSmithsmith yes! If she came up with an award winning tiganello (provided she works out how it’s pronounced, which is not like her blog / tigger off w. The Pooh) I would be impressed by that.

I suspect the crux of the problem is that they never wanted fully out. When they were told half in/half out wasn't going to work they threw a petulant fit. They should have gone away for a few months and thought about what would work for them before deciding (although perhaps their media/book deals were too far advanced for them to back out). So they are stuck in a situation they didn't actually want and they can't accept that it's of their own making.

True, a lot of knee jerk responses.
If they had forced the Palace to make excuses for their non attendances, while they had a long calm think with no media intrusion, they mightnt have left so hastily and so haughtily

Harry should definitely avoid cryo if he has concerns about his todger. My Dh will not do it for the same reason 😂

As for their lack of credibility, it is a fundamental problem that she did not serve enough time in the gilded prison which they claim that they escaped. They are all jet set and socially in demand so she would have barely have met most of the people whom she feels sorry for, let alone got to know them.

Didn't they have that trial year? I supposed they used it up in a bit of a blur for H., iykwim.
