I posted on the last one - as not been able to keep up with the news this week for various reasons. Anyone up for a brief summary of the main issues / outcomes?

I am also interested in how it’s being reported by various media vs the facts?

His court case really hasn’t generated much long term publicity in the media. A few years ago and this would have been dissected for months.

I like Harry more and more with every vicious thing I read about him. I think the absolute best course of action in his position is to make millions publishing the details of your frostbitten penis and then spend it sueing the papers that made your life a misery. Genius. Go Harry.

Is this the media in general not giving him airtime as a self protecting action as even though it’s MGN - it has implications for all of their reputations?

Or are they just now going on to report on the other 99 claimants?

I feel sorry for him. Everything has gone so wrong. His own fault in some ways, but not being heard is so invalidating. He probably feels visible and invisible. Meghan doesn't see him. I know he's invaded others' privacy, but he needs to be heard. King Charles should fly out to see him. Make it a priority.

Does anyone happen to know if there's actual evidence of the tracker allegedly placed on Chelsey's car?
Only I'm not aware Harry said much about this when giving evidence in court, and I'd have thought it would be something he'd want to make quite a thing of - after all surely it's something his security people would have been told about meaning there'd be backup for the account?

If anyone has been out of the country recently you’ll agree the international view is v different .
Harry told the truth about the media and the ‘royals’ .
Harry is taking the media on and addressing how much damage it has done to the country
Willy took the money ( as if he needs it- sheer greed) and kept his mouth shut .
Willy needs a favourable press - he’s nothing without them .

I didn’t just mean this case, I mean Harry coverage in general. His statement about a near catastrophic crash made headlines and quickly left. Compare it to just a few years ago when it felt you couldn’t get away from articles about him. I appreciate we are discussing him on here but I’m stuck in a hospital waiting room with little to do, but otherwise I think interest in him in general has really waned. Even those who at one stage seemed to have a lot of love or hatred for him just seem to be rolling their eyes and moving on from bothering to even support or bicker about him now.

I think that he is reliving his trauma time and time again in public. Interviews, book, now the court case. And it doesn't seem to be helping him. Interesting to note that Nikki Sanderson has seemingly been able to give much more concrete examples of being hacked in the court case. Could be media bias of course.

Not greed taking the money as W did but making peace with the press because you can’t be heir to the throne and at war with the tabloids if you want the monarchy to survive. A pragmatic decision I think. Also, why Charles was on a low key trip to transylvania at the time!

I have been quite cynical of the Harry and Megan team since the Oprah interview but I feel sorry for Harry on this after seeing the interviews with Piers Morgan and some figures associated with the now-defunct NOTW. I hope Harry gets the result he wants and MGN end up with their knuckles rapped.

How will this trial conclude? Is it a joint thing that the judge will call Guilty or Not Guilty after all 100 claimants give their evidence - or is it a case by case for each individual?

case by case, claim by claim- each claimant has multiple claims I believe

harry told some untruths
so not a great witness for his case
he seems very damaged

strangely, he said he brought the case to stop people hating Meghan, which
a. Doesn’t make sense and
b. Isn’t going to happen. If he wants people to change their minds about her, there is an awful lot they will have to forget
