Some of her grand children and great grandchildren! There’s six grandchildren and four great grandchildren missing!

(Although I noticed that there’s a photo of, presumably, Sienna Mapelli Mozzi being held by her Dad in the background).

Looks like KP are revving up on the social media front to whip the British public into a Coronation frenzy.

Serenster · 21/04/2023 14:07

It’s been released because today would have been QEII’s birthday, so it commemorative of a family member, not Coronation PR (you wouldn’t normally “revv up” for your changing of the guard ceremony by harking back to the old regime, after all!)

Ah. Thats lovely. I'm so saddened that after such a long reign she had to die such a painful death. Bone cancer is just hideous.

Drlovestrong · 21/04/2023 14:27

Ahhhh that is a lovely pic. Beautiful children.

DuchessOfPort · 21/04/2023 14:31

It’s so nice that so many of her young family were with her at Balmoral in her final weeks. Such a sweet photo.

PussBilledDuckyPlait · 21/04/2023 14:33

It's not very well composed.

pilates · 21/04/2023 14:37

It’s a lovely photo but I’m sure there will be some that will find fault.

I don't think it was meant to be. It looks like they were just all together and thought to take a cute photo for their own collections. it deff wasn't meant to be a formal photo. no is is dressed up, no coordination of outfits etc.

Think its a cute photo of a happy granny (who looks a little dazed)

Samcro · 21/04/2023 14:40

lovely photo. what do you think of it @RYGO

JamSandle · 21/04/2023 14:43

So they just happened to be standing in formation around the sofa and Kate whipped her phone out?😂

I didn't know QE had bone cancer?

I love the photo.

TheCrystalPalace · 21/04/2023 14:48

Occasions where the whole family can get together are few and far between, so I think they did well to get even this many grands/great-grands in one room.

They take this photo every year at Balmoral in the summer holidays . The family gather there , obviously it gets harder to get the whole family there but I don’t think there’s any hidden message

Toddlerteaplease · 21/04/2023 14:59

She looks a bit bemused by them all. 😁

hellsbells99 · 21/04/2023 14:59

It’s a lovely family photo

Sudeko · 21/04/2023 15:01

I'm waiting for someone to say 'it' 😆

This time, they probably knew it was likely to be the last time they were all there with the Queen. And the Queen probably tired easily, so they didn't want to keep her waiting around while they composed the perfect shot.

Sudeko · 21/04/2023 15:04

Anyway, it's a lovely photo. That is a baby Mike Tindall right there.

pickledandpuzzled · 21/04/2023 15:06

Is the tot tucking into a bag of snacks? If so that's a classic family photo.

Looks like it! I thought the same, it's a lovely moment of 'ordinariness' 😁

TheCrystalPalace · 21/04/2023 15:11

I remember that one from a few years back (might have been a formal shot) where Mia Tindall was holding the Queen's handbag. Perfect.

Viscount Severn is a handsome one! Not sure I've ever seen him crack a smile though.

bibbitybobbityyhat · 21/04/2023 15:11

So that's the Queen's grandchildren Louise and I assume James at the back?

Then I can see George, Charlotte and Louis in the middle row.

Who are all the other girls and the baby?

TheCrystalPalace · 21/04/2023 15:14

But OK, I'm going to go there.
I wonder what Harry and Meghan feel when they see a shot like this. Do they shrug, feel further relief they're not part of it all and move on with their day? Do they feel regret as, under different circumstances, their own children might have been in the pic with their great-grandmother? Or might they feel as if it's a deliberate ploy to accentuate the ones who are missing? Which of course would include Beatrice & Eugenie's children.
