Isla Philips looks very like Zara!

I think both the Phillip's girls look like their mother- who seems to have disappeared since her divorce. Mia Tindall is very like Zara all of a sudden. Lena Tindall looks very cute.

That is not official. A royal biographer said so and we know how they like to act that they know everything.
When they don't.

I think the speculation of this is very crass.

I agree.

People stating it as if it’s confirmed fact is very distasteful.

He is.

He is the Earl of Wessex and won't be Duke of Edinburgh.

LadyMuckingabout · 21/04/2023 16:30

Viscount Severn is very handsome; I’ll line him up for dd!!

TrashyPanda · 21/04/2023 16:34

It’s a very sweet and rather poignant photo.

lovely to see them altogether

Yes, but I wouldn't "release" my casual and not very good family snapshots with a fanfare to national news agencies.

Why not? It’s a lovely family picture and that’s all that matters.

She’s moved on and is very happily loved up with a new partner.

I find it very very wrong to talk of the Queen having bone cancer on this thread when it's not been officially confirmed that is so. That has come from a 'royal biographer'
She was shaking hands and smiling the day before she died (I hasten to add who knows what pain she was in) but having nursed my DM through a terrible terrible cancer when she was bed ridden for months beforehand, I find it crass.

Absolutely

greyhairnomore · 21/04/2023 16:41

Outnumberedmummy2022 · 21/04/2023 16:18

Oh I didn’t realise it was bone cancer.. how do you know this x

Speculation. None of our business actually

Sudeko · 21/04/2023 16:45

It doesn't really matter what she died of. She was extremely old. The difference between her and the majority of other people who live that long is that they wouldn't bother giving over the resources to test and diagnose regular people who would then be considered to have died of old age when infact, we always die of something specific, whatever our age.

Roussette · 21/04/2023 16:21

Ahhh ok, it's to mark her birthday, that makes more sense.

I thought it was a build up to the Coronation

i said that on the first page! 😀

I didn't see. I went to find out

It’s a lovely photo but I’m sure there will be some that will find fault.

Yes, it's always the way.

TheCrystalPalace · 21/04/2023 16:53

Well, we've had it already. The Queen isn't smiling and the group composition is apparently shit.

LadyHooHa · 21/04/2023 16:53

HM did die with bone cancer. However, it would be hard to say that she died 'of' it, given that people of such an advanced age rarely die of one specific condition.

Thripp · 21/04/2023 16:54

PollyThePixie · 21/04/2023 16:20

Is that what the late Queen died of?

How sad. She’s someone I miss very much.

Was she a personal friend?

sashagabadon · 21/04/2023 16:59

It’s a lovely photo

Blizzard23 · 21/04/2023 17:00

It must be quite sad for Harry to see photos like this. His children should be there and be part of the family. They are missing out on this element entirely. The fun and love of cousins and close family. It’s a shame.

StressedToTheMaxxx · 21/04/2023 17:03

PussBilledDuckyPlait · 21/04/2023 14:43

So they just happened to be standing in formation around the sofa and Kate whipped her phone out?😂

That's obviously not what the poster is saying. I would assume they were all having a gathering and Kate said right everyone stand round granny on the settee and we'll get a photo. As opposed to getting together specifically for a photoshoot.

There's no reason he should feel any more sad that Beatrice or Eugenie.

Maireas · 21/04/2023 17:04

Those photos are priceless and so nice to look back on when you're an adult.

StressedToTheMaxxx · 21/04/2023 17:04

Thripp · 21/04/2023 16:54

Why does someone need to be a personal friend for you to miss them doing their speech at Christmas, miss seeing their familiar face at official events etc?

Merrymouse · 21/04/2023 17:10

PussBilledDuckyPlait · 21/04/2023 15:50

The great thing about MN is that we are all anonymous, so I’m going to choose to believe that your situation is completely comparable… 😁

TrashyPanda · 21/04/2023 17:11

My late parents were born in the same years as Prince Philip and the Queen.

they looked like them too! It was like a little bit of mum and dad survived after their deaths.

so I’m another one who misses them.

That has come from a Royal biographer. Nowhere else. It was part of a book by this person.
