Really...?

He has had his State visit to France cancelled, so two days freed up.

Some families do not learn.

Camilla would inform Pierce and Clarkson. The media will make it look weak and he will align with their rational. Your king.

Can you explain what you're getting at here, please?

You've lost me.

ThePoshUns · 28/03/2023 20:50

Why would anyone in the family want to spend anytime with Harry and risk being written about in his next 'book'.
I wouldn't if I was in their shoes.

LadyGaGasPokerFace · 28/03/2023 20:52

I’m not surprised he doesn’t want to see his turd of a child who sold the family down the river. Harry’s on his own now.

Viviennemary · 28/03/2023 20:54

Not surprised he doesn't want to see Harry if it's true. Why would he.

ImAvingOops · 28/03/2023 20:56

I don't think Oprah did herself any favours with that interview. It wasn't robust at all - I think she lost credibility and respect by indulging unsubstantiated bs.

As he is deeply concerned about his security, then surely he will have informed RAVEC (who have undertaken to do a threat assessment for every visit, and provide official security when that assessment indicates it's needed). So he can't keep officialdom completely in the dark.

Unless he's not actually taking up the RAVEC provision (which I would find odd)

I can’t imagine he didn’t tell them.
His other court case would fall apart if that was the case, surely?

Plitvice · 28/03/2023 21:09

It is all part of a familiar attention-seeking cry-for-help - pushing the boundaries like a teenager: "Hear what I say about you all in the interview!! "Watch me breach your security rules!" "Will I/won't I get banned and what will you do about it Pa!" His demands were left unmet and this is his way of being a pain in the arse to provoke a response from his family which is perhaps not working as a strategy. It must be so tiring.

One thing is for sure: if he can attend a directions hearing abroad then he is not very busy. Is polo season currently over?

This is a family who write letters to each other and who make appointments to see family.
They are not normal folks so there's little point comparing their behaviour with how everyone else behaves.

I also need to make an appointment with my dad if I want to see him otherwise he won't be home! He's much too busy seeing friends, his girlfriend, going to concerts and doing his hobbies (and my dad is older than Charles....). Surely people don't stay home just in case someone wants to pop over?

I'm not sure whether RAVEC's membership has ever been published (its terms of reference have been)

There was a freedom of information request and it got published. That's how Harry discovered that Sir Edward,Young, the Queens private secretary, who he didnt like, was on the committee. It was part of his complaint that he felt Young would have been biased against him. The judge has already dismissed that part of his claim as being unfounded.

Oh, I haven't seen that! Do you have a link?

UWhatNow · 28/03/2023 21:30

Yes we are all guessing but I suspect the court is giving Harry a taste of what happens when you tell tales out of school…Yes you can fly back any time, but not a single fucker will give you the time of day.

Good - he’s a traitorous, little man-child married to volatile anti-British land mine. Who would trust him as far as they could throw him?

MarshaMelrose · 28/03/2023 21:42

I shall have a look @WinnieTheW0rm

CeliaNorth · 28/03/2023 21:44

Traitorous little drug-addled man-child. I imagine the security services have quite a dossier on him, and have advised HMK accordingly.

BlackFriday · 28/03/2023 21:53

Don't blame Charles (or the rest of them) in the SLIGHTEST!
How does Harry even have the audacity to think they would give him the time of day after his recent actions?
Mind you, if the Royals are as terrible as Harry has alleged, why would HE want to seen THEM?

Ishouldbeoutside · 28/03/2023 21:56

He’s back to sniping about ‘the Institution’.
Why on earth would Charles want to see him?

WinnieTheW0rm · 28/03/2023 21:56

Thank you @MarshaMelrose

Ladybyrd · 28/03/2023 22:07

Nobody knew he was in the country until he turned up at court, so I wouldn't presume he hasn't been back at other times, given he has security concerns. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors. This sounds like pure speculation.

Ladybyrd · 28/03/2023 22:08

Its not the Jeremy Kyle show.

It is a bit though.

TrashyPanda · 28/03/2023 22:58

Its not the Jeremy Kyle show

it could be.
if the price is right.
it’s not like Harry has any standards or morals.

caringcarer · 28/03/2023 23:04

Charles knows anything he says to Harry will end up in a book. I doubt there is any trust left at all. If he was my family member I'd not speak to him again ever.

caringcarer · 28/03/2023 23:07

Upsywavy · 28/03/2023 13:58

Haz could have done his court bits online but no doubt he decided to come over in person in attempt to steal headlines from his dad's trip to France- gutted for him it was cancelled eh. Can't blame Charles really, it's like if any relative who has been an arse swung into town unannounced why should he drop everything to see him?

Yes, I had not thought of that but H&M regularly drop bits of news to steal limelight from whichever royal is in spotlight or having a birthday, wedding etc.

BillLius · 28/03/2023 23:12

Do you think Harry will be let back into the USA? Is this his first overseas trip since publishing Spare?

TeaMistress · 28/03/2023 23:25

There is no trust left at all. None. Charles and his other family members are very unlikely to wish to see or speak with that drug addled traitor privately ever again without witnesses and an ironclad non disclosure agreement. He is a truly nasty horrible excuse for a human being. The drug addict and his wife simply cannot be trusted not to leak every single word spoken to some vile US newspaper or magazine or drop it into Waah volume 2 or embellish it in Netflix Whingeathon part 2 or to leak it to their nasty little mouthpiece Scabies. If my relative had done to me what that vile man has done to his family I would never see or speak to them of my own volition ever again.

Theunamedcat · 28/03/2023 23:52

He is still blaming his family for everything 🙄 read what he said about them on the stand apparently he was far too busy in a helicopter and no-one told him his phone was hacked
