While I think H had done legitimate complaints about some aspects of his childhood, it's very telling that he's gone from being someone who was close to his family to not being on speaking terms at all, after meeting his wife. Who by sheer coincidence also is estranged from nearly all her family!

Even accepting that the RF don't do things the way normal people do, they can hardly be blamed for not wanting to talk to someone who puts everything in the public domain, with their particular spin on it! If you don't meet, then no meeting can be misrepresented!

Wouldn’t be surprised if KC didn’t want to get into a debate about attendance at the coronation, balcony appearances, fourth birthday parties etc when it seems that formal discussions are still ongoing between both sides. Probably worried PH will try to harangue him into agreeing to whatever he’s after and it’ll just muddy the waters or make relations even more strained in the long term. And given PH’s form for publicising his version of private conversations, I don’t blame him.

Harry is only focussed on one thing. Revenge… on family, newspapers, journalist. Anything. He can travel over here when he didn’t have to and yet he hated everything about the U.K. the reality I believe is he is deeply sad. Blaming everyone and everything. He needs to go back home and enjoy his life as that is the life he wants.

. maybe Charles doesn’t want to see him and has made polite excuses?

.. maybe, having been gifted an unexpected 2 days off because of the cancellation of the French visit, Charles and Camilla have arranged a two day break for themselves out of London, perhaps invited others to accompany them, and so don’t want / can’t politely nip back to London ?

And the other possibility that it's all bollocks.

A previous poster said it was leaked from the Sussexes. So we must remember that their truth is not necessarily what anyone else would see as accurate.

It is possible that time times Charles is free, Harry is not (and vice versa)

Well I think he kept the trip quiet (from Palace) , hence he was able to make the surprise needed, to highlight the court case. It was front cover all on newspapers (except Daily Fail ofc)

I think that the time for Charles to act was when Harry and Meghan were first being threatened. His whole "why did they leave us" is so annoying. They left for their safety. I was aghast that nothing was done when Harry and Meghan's hidden cottage interiors were plastered on a tabloid. That alone showed how vulnerable they were to actual harm. If photographs could have been taken from a distance so could a sniper shot.

The only ones I've found are either from previous occupants (and quite a long time ago) or design firm mock-ups of what it could be like.

Why on earth should Charles meet up just because Harry wants to? Harry has said many awful things about his family and needs to grow up if he feels his family should simply forgive him. Why is he surprised that nobody trusts him? He’s just showing yet more entitlement.

Unless he's not actually taking up the RAVEC provision (which I would find odd)

He made a trip to see Queen Elizabeth that wasn't reported until he had left the UK for Invictus so it's clearly possible for him to travel secretly.
I don't blame Charles for not making time-any meeting will be made public by Harry in the US press.

Isn't the King's private secretary on the RAVEC committee? So if Harry did inform them, the king would know he was coming through him. If he didn't inform them, he obviously doesn't feel he needs protection. So that's one less headache for vip protection in the future.

I highly doubt Charles will be meeting up with Harry for a father/son chitchat anytime soon. Not without witnesses because he will not want every word he says twisted grotesquely out of context and used for a chapter of his next book or his next interview (probably not Oprah because according to rumours she has dropped them like a hot brick)
