He has had his State visit to France cancelled, so two days freed up.

see above. Charles is flying out to germany to continue his tour today. Harry 's visit was unannounced (hardly surprising following the Talaban Chess remarks) so maybe they haven't talked about meeting?

It's all pretty sick. He left one abnormal situation for another and has now brought children into it and a publicly declared love of drugs. I don't know how he will fare in the long run but none of these named adults in his life are healthy and unbiased enough to promote his best interests.

The King and Queen will be carrying out varoious pre-planned engagements before the trip to Germany.

It's irony that he is in UK for a privacy case against a newspaper.

He himself has spilled private conversations, layout of private houses and even spilled info about his brothers private parts. And he did it all for money.

It’s not a normal family row, or a row in a normal family. If we fall out with family, it heals, or the feud continues, or some sort of polite truce is reached. But NO ONE ELSE knows or cares.

This is never going to happen with the rf and Harry, because every word and their interpretation of those words, will be relayed for public consumption.

So even if Charles (or even William) is desperate to reconcile, they just can’t trust H and M.

Totally agree, only Harry’s privacy counts he doesn’t give a fuck about spilling private conversations and private medical details of his family, all for the mighty dollar.

Can't blame Charles really, it's like if any relative who has been an arse swung into town unannounced why should he drop everything to see him?

If a family member has a job which involves meetings, travel and evening engagements, with lots of other people relying on them to keep to arrangements, isn't it sensible to check when they will be available if you want to see them? You can't just rock up and expect them to drop everything for you.

Who defines what's 'normal'? On MN there are people who won't answer the phone or the door if it's not a pre-arranged call or visit. Is that how 'everyone else' behaves?

And bearing in mind that "sources close to Harry" have divulged that Charles refused to meet him....it appears that Harry still thinks it's fine to continue leaking private conversations when it suits him.

H & M can't be trusted and I hope they stay away from the Coronation or else it's just going to be in the next instalment of his whine-athon books.

Appointment is just a posh or business like away of wording the same things normal people do.

If you have a shift worker in your circles you know that you are best to send a text to make arrangements to catch up with them.
Phoning runs the risk of catching them when at work or sleeping

TBH if my DS went on telly and told everyone I was trapped in my life and heavily implied that I was both racist and too stupid to understand that....I probably wouldn't drop everything to see him either.
