I was shocked to see photos of Prince Edward in Edinburgh. He has lost a lot of weight. Hope he is okay. Or maybe he had covid badly?

Oh. Sorry. Cross post

Auntieobem · 13/03/2023 14:19

It's really not unusual for existing photos to be reused.

BatFaceOwl · 13/03/2023 14:24

There are such strange people on here. Who on earth could get so worked up about someone there don't even know? And not only that, but go on to compare photos and spaff on and on in such a hand wringing way.

It's just so weird

Exactly. It is becoming very obsessive sounding. And the OPs excuse is well I would be concerned if a family member looked that ill

Thing is unless you are going to drip feed that you are Kate (as she is apparently a MNetter) then he isn’t your family so don’t understand why they are getting so worked up to the point of comparing photographs

Very odd thread

BatFaceOwl · 13/03/2023 14:34

@Womencanlift it so is. And I'll admit I thought I had the royal family forum hidden but clearly not!

Just sounds so .. meddly and over invested. Really distasteful. To the point where I'm genuinely wondering if the OP is actually quite well

And fwiw, Edward looks fine

I believe that the op is a fan of Prince Harry.

Edward has always been slim, but I would think that losing both parents recently has maybe aged him a little. When my mum lost her parents she looked tired for a couple of years.

DessertsForAll · 13/03/2023 14:51

You believe wrongly.

Not convinced.

Maireas · 13/03/2023 15:31

Well, OP, you've started threads stating that Camilla, Charles, William and Kate are boring, and that Charles is an angry, bad tempered hoarder. You'll admit there's an agenda?.

BatFaceOwl · 13/03/2023 16:02

I think the OP probably has some issues so I'll not comment further

Lots of quite nasty women on this post.

I’ve just lost quite a lot of weight in a shortish time (for health reasons) and I look older as a result. It’s not that big a deal or anyone else’s concern.

WontTheRealSlimSheldyPlsFuckoff · 13/03/2023 16:45

Indeed

and yet not one of us can hold a candle…

Quite the achievement.

WontTheRealSlimSheldyPlsFuckoff · 13/03/2023 16:47

Sorry that was for the previous post glorious 🙂

LaMarschallin · 13/03/2023 17:04

I think he's got a look of Tony Blair as seen in this photo:

www.britannica.com/biography/Tony-Blair

Not TB as he is now, obviously.

Maireas · 13/03/2023 17:06

He reminds me of the late Queen.
Edward. Not Tony Blair.

WontTheRealSlimSheldyPlsFuckoff · 13/03/2023 17:09

TB. About as welcome as t’other TB.

Inkanta · 13/03/2023 17:27

Expect it's been a stressful 6 months after losing his mum. Still going through bereavement process.

DessertsForAll · 13/03/2023 17:29

The same as for his siblings.

KrasiTime · 13/03/2023 17:32

Everyone is different. My dad died recently. I’ve put on weight my siblings have lost.

Stop making it something it isn’t.

DuchessOfPort · 13/03/2023 17:33

Hoping to dig out or be proved right that someone is ill, while posting misleading photographs in the process with zero evidence that he is anything other than a 59 year old man in good health is really unsavoury.

So much prurient salivation in the OP’s posts. Yuck.

WontTheRealSlimSheldyPlsFuckoff · 13/03/2023 17:33

Christ.

So not only can they diagnose mental illness or physical conditions but they seem to think there should be a standard response to grief.

Amazing.

OP are you Donald Trump? Can't think of anyone else who's big on calling people 'nasty women'.

He’s lost his mum and dad in the space of a few months; his brother has been outed as a sexual abuser and his nephew has been telling the world how dreadful the royal family are.

No wonder he looks a little “strained”.

This ⬆️⬆️

The same as for his siblings.

I’ll have to get in touch with my siblings and find out what our co-ordinated grieving should entail…

I was unaware this was a thing, I thought we were all individuals. Silly me.
