Prince Edward has lost a lot of weight

I was shocked to see photos of Prince Edward in Edinburgh. He has lost a lot of weight. Hope he is okay. Or maybe he had covid badly?

I agree op, he has lost weight quite dramatically.

I noticed when the queen passed folks were very aggressive that she had not been Ill and had died in full health due to old age.

Thanks. If a relative his age lost weight this quickly I would be very concerned and worried about them.

I remember when the Duke of Edinburgh went into hospital shortly before he died, there were still those on here insisting he was fine and would carry on for some years still.

Edward gas always been a healthy weight. Sophie is like me, a but too much middle aged spread. But not Edward.
Anyway will leave this. If it is anything more than temporary grief or a temporary illness, we will know in time. So I hope we do not learn anything.

"middle aged spread" seriously stop it now. Your assertion that we are only uncaring as we are English/British and you are not? If I was to say it's only people from (wherever you are from) that are so rude about people's weight I would quite rightly be pilloried .

Saying Sophie has middle aged spread like me is simply accurate. Although Sophie is far more beautiful than me. She is the most beautiful Royal.

He is ill mentally (depression) or physically. Someone losing weight through exercise and healthy living has a different look.
Please note I am not suggesting it has to be anything serious. I said in my OP he may have had covid as that often destroys peoples appetite.

This is utter nonsense. You know nothing about his health. What is wrong with you?

I recently saw the film of Edward and Sophie in Edinburgh. They both looked well and happy. Edward was friendly, engaged and Sophie was her usual friendly, stylish self. They're both approaching 60, and look blooming good!
I know 60 isn't old nowadays (giving self assurance here 🙄) but it's not going to be the same as 20 or 30, is it?.

You've not posted the Chelsea Flower Show (2021 rather than 2022) before on this thread - look at your photo from yesterday at 20:56 - that is from 2015. Compare it with your CFS 2021 photo - they're not wearing the same clothes!

It is the same photo. I had to use snipping tool as MN only accepts photos in some formats. It is the same clothes.

Okay sorry I had assumed the article used to talk about his cyprus trip was taken on the cyprus trip. Strange to use a photo from 7 years before.

So you accept that this photo is from 2015, not 2022 and Edward looks older because he is actually 8 years older? And you didn’t exactly tell the truth when you said it looked different because you had cropped it? Or that they were wearing the same clothes?
