They are rarely in the UK. It would just sitting there empty. It makes no sense. Also, if Harry and Meghan need a home in Britain, why not buy a home?

So you twist my words all you like, but my views on this have been crystal clear over the years

I did not twist your words.
I quoted your words.
directly.
with no alterations.
your words which could not be interpreted as anything other a use of Harry and Harry alone.

you then accused me of “profesing” marriage demise. For using Harry alone.

own it.

I used your very own words.

you’ve previously had to apologise for false claims. Time for another apology instead of bare faced lies

No twisting that I can see.

If you say "Andrew and Harry" then of course people will think you mean those two people

Did you want me to put Andrew and his ex wife Sarah. And Harry and his wife Meghan?

As I said, I have been vehement in ANY posting about the end of H&M's marriage, I'm hardly likely to suddenly think otherwise because I forgot to put the name Meghan in there. It's odd you would think so.

PosieLuton · 08/03/2023 12:16

Charles has constantly leaked to the press against his won son including something Harry said only to his father,
Charles told Harry he would no longer have Frogmore and that it would be given to Andrew and then leaked that to the press as well.
Charles refuses to talk to Harry at all.
It is clear Charles wants nothing to do with Harry and his grandchildren but feels he has to do things like invite them to the Coronation to appear to be a good father.

What bare faced lies.

Will you please stop these personal attacks. You are attacking me because I forgot to put the name Meghan with Harry. Which according to you means, I think their marriage is going to end. Absolutely laughable.

I ask you to stop.

You do know that that was sourced in the British press to "friends of the Sussexes" and later that day it was confirmed by Scobie.

You were there then? 😂😂😂

@Samcro

No you did not ask what they pay you made a statement...

so why do H&M have to pay market rates. seems very odd

You say H&M pay market rates. That's a statement, not a question.

Hi all,
Could we ask you to keep this thread on topic as we're getting several reports in of in-fighting and tbh we'd rather everyone didn't rehash old arguments and instead just treated each other in good faith? If that's impossible, we'll have to delete yet another royal family thread, which in this day and age rather boggles the mind.

I don’t think anyone really gives a shit
about Frogmore Cottage with its low ceilings.
The exterior looks horrible

I would accept it as a weekend cottage 😁

Does Frogmore have low ceilings? I thought that was Nottingham Cottage 🤷‍♀️

milveycrohn · 12/03/2023 07:20

The netflix documentary showed them packing up Frogmore Cottage, so I do not think it had any of their possessions in it, anyway.
It was not being used, so why keep it empty.
Charles as a new monarch has every right to decode not to renew their lease.

That's what I thought! I knew it was staged (I couldn't believe they had gone to that much trouble to get wistful photos of them going through stuff as they packed up), but was it actually staged to such a degree that they weren't really packing up? If the packing up was really happening then I'm not sure why they'd actually want to stay there. It feels like yet another example of smoke and mirrors and rewriting of history.

purpledalmation · 13/03/2023 10:05

@Lampzade It was Nottingham cottage that was small with low ceilings. It was Harry's batchelor pad and Meghan moved in. After they married they got froggmore cottage which is large with 5 bedrooms.

SmallSoupcon · 13/03/2023 13:34

Would Harry need to have a UK residence for tax/citizenship purposes? I'm very curious about how he manages to effortlessly live and work in the US seemingly without any immigration issues...

mixedrecycling · 13/03/2023 14:28

A lot of countries have an investment route to getting a visa - if you invest a certain amount of money in the country you can live there. So if you are rich enough you can choose where you live from a wide selection...

milveycrohn · 13/03/2023 18:03

The netflix series show that Harry and Meghan had already left Frogmore (they were packing boxes, etc).
The lease was not being renewed and the leak was made by the Sussexes.

CathyorClaire · 13/03/2023 20:44

I guess having a 95% claim to your charity take might help with raising that.

mixedrecycling · 13/03/2023 21:21

I don't know if 'investing' includes taking out a mortgage?
