Actually there is NO difference between 'queen' and 'queen consort'

Both are made up titles designed to fool the unquestioning that 'royalty ' is real

'King' is an invented idea.

There is no difference. The consort term was brought back to the fore to appease those who don't like Camilla (even though it changes nothing).

Well it does actually change things because if Charles divorced camilla she wouldn't be queen consort but he would still remain king. They only have their titles through marriage so they can be taken away. Whereas people jumping up and down about removing Harry's title they can't do this he was born Prince Harry and will remain so whatever us commoners think of this medieval family.
