So... in the spirit of my OP... and for those of you interested in healthy debate of views here. If you are not supportive or in agreement with my assessment of Spare... and you are either upset about it, angry or think it's utter bollocks. ... why do you have the view you have ? Some of the posters have already answered this but not many...
Do you think he did the monarchy harm and it angers you? Is it that you think he lied and prifiting from it? Is it that you think he is only entitled and should suck it up ... or a combo of above ?

I'm not british, not in the UK and don't give a fuck about your monarchy. I don't know what to make of Meghan but Harry comes across as very entitled and spoiled and maybe narcistic. That's without reading that so called bad british press so there's a lot less press about them here. I didn't read Spare, I did see the Netflix documentary.

I don't think he did the monarchy harm, quite the contrary, although I doubt it was his intention to help out with their PR.

The lying and revealing private details about others for money is a problem for me, as is the making fun of a disabled person. Mostly the hypocrisy and the petty jealousy / complaining I think.

Honestly - I don't know what I make of Meghan... I go from one view to another. She is an actress after all. So I will refrain from giving a view because I'm not entirely sure. And haven't watched all the interviews with her etc... But whatever the truth is about her... I am still amazed at Harry's transparent account of things..snd given the fact lying won't help his cause, I like that he is brave enough to bear all (apart from the todger bit ) 😂

I tell you one thing Harry's achieved that I didn't think was possible: he's actually made me feel sorry for Charles and William.

Well... I've only lived in the UK for 20 years so I've missed the debacle of the 90s some posters referred to. Note to self to look into that as its fascinating. And I'm open to different viewpoints.
I don't know about all of the things that were mentioned ... as I didn't read the original account (from the press!) But Harry's view of the truth. One though was mentioned about the way they met - both M and H stories are the same in my view.. one just gives more info than the other, so I don't see a lie there. I will look back to the other examples to see what I think....

I don't think Harry has harmed the Monarchy.

I think he's provided a remarkable insight into what his family have had to deal with, and how hard the PR-machinery worked at trying to maintain his image as a loveable cheeky chappy. That image has been wholly blown apart.

I imagine it will be something he comes to regret.

What about the Oprah interview and the accusations of racism? Then getting a Ripple of Hope award for challenging the institutional racism in the Royal Family....
Then saying they never claimed that the royals are racist...it was the UK press that said it!

I feel sorry for people who are imperfect, as we all are, but have been publicly ripped apart by a supposed loved one who has used private conversations and intimate moments as weaponry against them. It's cruel.
