I've caught a few items on the news about this pair. They seem to be ramping up their public presence in a rather strange way. Salacious and attention seeking. What is going on?

She has some kind of contract in Australia to promote a racing event which seems quite big there, hence the increased exposure in the press. During the rest of the year they're not seen very often other than at sporting events and family days out. I suppose we'll see them next at the Coronation as they still have a role within the RF of sorts.

She has pretty awful dress sense.

Now and then she gets it right but often everything is too short, too fussy, too tight.

She has muscly legs and while that is good for her career, she doesn't look great in tiny mini dresses and towering high heels.

I agree with this. I get the feeling that there is a cousin split with Peter, Zara and Mike on William and Kate’s “side” and the Yorks (especially Eugenie) siding with Harry and Meghan

Kate and Zara appear to be quite close and the kids seem to be too but I have never seen Kate and the Yorks have that same sort of relationship

I'm not keen. They seem a bit full of themselves and show offy.

This is the long term aim - 5-10 years future. Of course I dont know for sure but yes - the Royal Family will need in that time untainted adults with a personality who can engage. No one who needs to work externally will have the time - so it will need to be those who have a wodge of cash and assets behind them who can "agree to do this voluntarily" ie supported by a grant from wherever.

i thought the pics of them in the DM were a bit much today. I’m definitely not a prude (I’m not royal so can do what I like in public ) but I was thinking of Will and Kate or Harry and Megan had pics like that published it would be carnage!

That's not salacious. They're not flashing anything, you might not like her legs but she's not inappropriately dressed

No it was the tongues thing and the strange risqué start to the interview. She’s lost a lot of weight and looks amazing. I expected to really like Mike on Celebrity but I really didn’t.

I think she'd probably be far more at home in jeans and rugby shirts but every now and again has to 'dress up' a bit, but doesn't much care about what she's wearing. She's her mother's daughter for sure.

Serena Williams also has muscly legs and is partial to a short dress and high heels.

good on both of them. They are two top class athletes and are rightly proud of their bodies and what they can achieve. and they are rightly body- confident.

Zara and Mike have both had jobs as world class athletes - Mike as a rugby player in the same way as eg David Beckham was a football player. Mike is presumably now looking for a not dissimilar retirement career as one half of a celebrity couple. Zara's career was as a solo athlete along the lines of Jessica Ennis Hill or Kelly Holmes and again like them will be looking for ways to earn now that is coming to an end. I don't see anyone objection to Jessica E-H earning as an ambassador for Vitality. Given she is not paid by from the public purse I see no reason why Zara can't be an ambassador for JL etc.

I do wonder though (as suggested by a PP) if she is gearing up for a more public role and possibly to take on some of her mother's patronages and duties. P Anne is a very hardworking Royal and it is hard to see how she will be able to keep this up into her 80s so she must be wanting to slow down a bit over the next few years and Zara seems the obvious choice.

I love them.

Really can’t find a fault.

They are hard working successful professional sports people, they have a nice secure nuclear family, and they do their bit for the Royals without making a scene about themselves.

They are Loyal and turn up when needed, even if they aren’t paid for. I’d like to see them as working Royals, they seem human.

And so what if they muck about, they are in love and were with friends 🤷‍♀️ Seems healthy. Fun is allowed and it is nice to see it in the Royals. Everything has been so starched and stressed with the Queens death, and all the Sussex nonsense.

Really didn't like her face pulling as the vicar spoke at Harry and Meghan's wedding, she came across incredibly rude and nasty doing that.

I googled, OK I'll give you that. And the dress is vile.

Meghan wrongly claimed you couldn't match in with a senior royals colour of clothing anyone who can Google can see this is wrong all of them matched with the queen at some point and they regularly match in with each other

I don’t think this is new. They’ve been photo’s at the Aussie horse racing loads. They are under not scrutiny

AIBU, my daughter and son IL have swannes off to Aus and left me with three unruly children. I bet she won't even bring me back some kangaroo testicles which SIL raved about.

She was heavily pregnant. She was probably trying not to wet herself.
