I've caught a few items on the news about this pair. They seem to be ramping up their public presence in a rather strange way. Salacious and attention seeking. What is going on?

I’ve got a 3 month old daughter who has recently had covid and been poorly. Before being ill she slept okish at night. Around 9:30-2/3 and then 3-6ish. Since being poorly her sleep has been dreadful. I’m surviving on about 3 hours a night broken sleep. I’ve also got a 3 1/2 year old so resting in the day isn’t an option. My baby has always struggled with pooing, she just seems so uncomfortable and it can take hours of discomfort before she finally goes. This always seems worse at night. I’m questioning whether she’s got an intolerance to dairy? I breastfeed her and every now and again give her some expressed milk in a bottle. The past 3 days she’s totally refused a bottle (hadn’t given her one for a while before that).
Although this is my second child I just feel like I don’t know what I’m doing and struggling to see the light at the moment.
Thanks for reading x

No idea about Zara and Mike. They seem fine. Both successful sportspeople - Olympic silver medalist and rugby World Cup winner. I wonder if they can earn their own titles via the honours list?

I don't think it will be tough on William and Kate though. They will continue to be full time working royals, but the royal family as a whole will just do less in total. The three Wales children don't need to become full time working royals until William is King if the family is slimmed down and doing less. That model is comparable to royal families around Europe, which I imagine Charles had in mind when he was making his slimming down plans.

William could easily end up King before George is 21, no guarantee that Charles will be around at 86, or be fit enough to work full-time.
HMQ & PP both had incredibly long life's but Margaret died in her 70s and the Queens father died young too.

Harry walking away has left the RF a bit short on people.
When was the last time Charles mentioned, or repeated the Slimdown thing?

@Katied1988 you might want to start your own thread as you'll get more answers. This is the Royal Family topic 😊

Katied1988 · 17/01/2023 09:15

@Ohgodthepain Oh no 😂🤦🏻‍♀️. Can you tell
its my first time using this and I’m sleep deprived?! Thanks, I shall attempt a new thread.

Katied1988 · 17/01/2023 09:17

@Ohgodthepain Would you be able to point me in the right direction of starting a new thread please?

Sugarfree23 · 17/01/2023 09:27

@Katied1988 go to the top of the page and click "talk" find the appropriate section either chat or parenting. You'll see a button at the bottom "+ new thread" open a new thread and write your post.

Cross posted.

Charles wants slim, without Harry it's anorexic, he wouldn't have anticipated Harry walking away.

10 years time Charles's generation will all be 70s or 80s and George will probably still be in education (school, uni, military). Making it incredibly tough on William and Kate.

Edward and Sophie may be able to do a lot more?

Anthillmobontherun · 17/01/2023 10:39

EconomyClassRockstar · 17/01/2023 02:10

But if they're so slimmed down that they don't really do anything, why do we need them?

I will be SO happy when the British public finally have this discussion for real.

That's not what's being said, overall they may have to do less but individually they will still be working full time.

CathyorClaire · 17/01/2023 10:43

He was pretending to throw her in the water, you know, joking about, having fun, not groping her.

He had his hand on her bum and boob.

No he didn't

CathyorClaire · 17/01/2023 10:52

His income massively dried up in lockdown - hence the jungle.

He's a multimillionaire in his own right and claimed furlough for his staff.

She took on a £100k a year non-executive directorship involving six gigs a year then lied about it.

I have never understood the fawning that they engender.

Randomuser9876 · 17/01/2023 10:57

There's often insinuations online about him playing away but is there any backing to this or is it just rumours?

Comedycook · 17/01/2023 11:45

I know. Posters queuing up to say how down to earth and fun they are. It's really odd. We don't know what they're like really do we?

Roussette · 17/01/2023 12:02

I was wondering if there would be a thread on them.

I have to say, I thought the pics of them at the Races and around about in Oz was really OTT. One of them, it looks like she's grabbing his crotch whilst sticking her tongue out. And all the photos at the Races looked like they were ratarsed.

I'm sure they're having fun etc, and they are minor royals after all, but they do seem to get away with anything and everything.

There is a bit of a hoohaah over in Australia as they were paid to come over and attend loads of events, they certainly monetise their position.

Blossomtoes · 17/01/2023 12:06

@Roussette, I’ve been trying to PM you with an apology but can’t work out how the hell to do these days. Could you drop me a line so I can respond?

No worries, @Blossomtoes I've dropped you a PM 😊

Yes I thought the same, 'look at us we're the fun ones!' Used to really like them but my opinion has changed after seeing him on IACGMOOH and her taking part in the mean girls scenario wearing burgandy at Kate's Carol service.

Yes I'm the same after I'm a Celeb. Not as easy going and inclusive as I first thought they might be.

Except some posters have clearly said they do know them /, have worked with them etc.

Yes those are the photos I meant. She’s grabbing his crotch, they are kissing with their tongues sticking out and then there’s a cringeworthy interview where they call each other My Love in a really cringeworthy way. I think they’ve decided now the Queen is dead that anything goes regarding self promotion and money making.

She has pretty awful dress sense.

Now and then she gets it right but often everything is too short, too fussy, too tight.

She has muscly legs and while that is good for her career, she doesn't look great in tiny mini dresses and towering high heels.

Such an unnecessary taking apart of one woman by another woman.

They're the ones who usually say 'I'd love a night out with Camilla, I bet she loves a gin or two' Grin

We don't know any of them. We only know what the media feed us. It can give me opinions but I've no idea if they're the right ones.
