There's enough for another book! Prince Harry says he cut his memoir in HALF and stripped out details about his father and brother - as he claims he has 'long-term' aim to 'fix' the monarchy!

What an arrogant and deluded oaf!

The Duke of Sussex told The Telegraph he chose to leave out several bombshells because he was concerned his father and brother would not 'ever forgive' him.

'The first draft was different. It was 800 pages, and now it's down to 400 pages. It could have been two books, put it that way. And the hard bit was taking things out.

'There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don't want the world to know. Because I don't think they would ever forgive me.'

Harry also revealed his motivation to speak out so publicly against the Firm is to ultimately 'save [his family] from themselves'.

He detailed plans to derail the relationship between the Royal family and the press, expressing his belief that in doing so he can protect future divisions in the family.

After the dust has settled, he expressed a hope that he and Meghan can reconnect with his family - even if they don't particularly like his decision to share 'his truth'.

😂😂😂😂😂

He will basically say anything to destroy William, whatever it takes he will try to do it.

I think what he needs is a cease and desist letter
vile behaviour

He needs more than that. A visit from MI6 would be in order now.

And yet claims to love his brother. It's really grotesque.

jtaeapa · 13/01/2023 23:53

He needs to apply himself to the parenting of his own small children and stop trying to destroy everything and everybody he's ever encountered.

LadyVictoriaSponge · 13/01/2023 23:55

He’s become extremely cocky for sure, not sure why because the derision this book has taken is off the scale, he reads everything about himself so I don’t know why he is so full of his own self importance, I’m guessing he sees the book sales as a sign of support when in fact it’s just rubbernecking at a car crash.

ALeapOfFaith · 14/01/2023 00:01

Something has short circuited in his head.
His grandiose statements about reforming the monarchy and how this will cause a ripple across the world when they see the light and repent are, nothing short of absurd.

I’ve heard more sense spoken from David Icke.

It is somewhat reminiscent of a certain person claiming that Africans were dancing in the streets for her however. Are they both on the mushrooms?

Well, yes - he’s grown up in a family who believe they have a divine right to rule. So I’d say that’s a safe bet. Imagine how what Charles’ god complex is like!

🙄 The idea of divine right hasn't been used for over 300 years. It died out at the end the Stuart dynasty at the end of the C17th.

If the dog bowl story is true then Harry explaining to William about parenting would be a good bet for the context.

Lol

I'd feel far far far more embarrassed defending this monarchy, unelected, unsupported (by some), paid for with millions, and I don't have a darling!

I just welcome someone from the inside (i.e. Harry) speaking about what it is like.

I'll listen but Royalists won't. It's too painful for them to hear what it's really like.

Only that's not what it's really like. Harold has lost the plot!

MarshaMelrose · 14/01/2023 00:06

Can you imagine if William said it's clear that Harry is having some kind of breakdown so I'm going to take custody of the children because, unless Meghan leaves him, its too dangerous for Archie and Lili to be around him? Harry would be furious.
He just has no self-awareness.

Ericaequites · 14/01/2023 00:07

@MrsDanversGlidesAgain. The magical Mummy balm was probably Elizabeth Arden’s eye cream. It was a creamy mild lanolin preparation. My family used it on sore noses when we had colds. It’s no longer made, but you could find something similar at upscale baby stores, an organic grocer, or on Amazon.

They'll have him bumped off before part 2, much like they did his mother.

😬🫣

I mean, it's a possibility. Who knows the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

But I'd brace yourself here for the "outraged" posters saying you are "egging on his demise/murder" ....

Good luck.

Nobody's forcing you to read it, you know.

Bluekerfuffle · 14/01/2023 00:17

The Duke also revealed that he felt “responsibility” to reform the monarchy for the sake of Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four. “I know that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare,” he said. “And that hurts, it worries me.”

What a prat. None of the Queen’s children ended up feeling hard done by and having to whine to the world that they had a smaller room than their siblings and no one really loved them, so it’s odd to assume that William’s children will, especially as they are being brought up by what appear to be well adjusted parents and a very stable and supportive extended family on their mother’s side at least. Also there are three of them, so two “spares”, so less likely to feel isolated.

LadyVictoriaSponge · 14/01/2023 00:18

The lack of support for Harry from the Question Time audience was very telling.

MonsoonMadness · 14/01/2023 00:21

He clearly smokes a lot of weed. I do wonder if he’s become totally unhinged as a result.

BellePeppa · 14/01/2023 00:25

He’s a knob isn’t he, or maybe that should be a todger.

Boulshired · 14/01/2023 00:27

Next we will be hearing that Andrew being a spare led to him being a sick predator. The curse of the spare. I think Harry has already shown to William and Kate how not to do it.

And William and Kate got a fantastic reception at Royal Liverpool hospital this week. That must gave cheered them up.

Yes it was lovely to hear that, they must have felt buoyed by the response.

Yeah, if Yoko doesn’t do it first. How useful will he be in the long run if the Firm cut him off? Unless of course the attraction really is his scintillating personality and wit.

EpicChaos · 14/01/2023 01:42

" Or being so chummy with Saville. "
Hmmm but a lot of people were chummy with Savile, including the police, management at Stoke Mandeville hospital, management at Broadmoor, the labour council that allowed a whole load of young, underage girls to go camping with him overnight, other various politicians/councils and to a large extent, the general public!

MeghanAndTheSeals · 14/01/2023 02:06

Firstly, this interview is highlighting even more just how bonkers Harry is.

Secondly, I would have thought that W&K’s kids will hopefully be just fine. W has the knowledge/experience of issues that happened with his parents etc. Plus much less publicised therapy. They’ve also had years of being fully involved with the Middleton family - likely a good family unit, away from the “gilded cage”. I would have thought that both of them will have been making every effort to ensure that “things” are done differently with regards to their children.

Lastly, I’m just slightly surprised by @Roussette . I’ve read this board for quite some time. I often don’t agree with her posts, but they are mostly measured. The tone has definitely felt different on this thread, to the extent that I double-checked the spelling to make sure it wasn’t another “spoof” account which happened recently.

That ‘royal’ doormat 😂 Really sums the pair of them up 😂

Just when you think you’ve seen it all 😂

Yes her position re H&M really doesn’t seem particularly coherent. Perhaps we’re missing something
