There's enough for another book! Prince Harry says he cut his memoir in HALF and stripped out details about his father and brother - as he claims he has 'long-term' aim to 'fix' the monarchy!

What an arrogant and deluded oaf!

The Duke of Sussex told The Telegraph he chose to leave out several bombshells because he was concerned his father and brother would not 'ever forgive' him.

'The first draft was different. It was 800 pages, and now it's down to 400 pages. It could have been two books, put it that way. And the hard bit was taking things out.

'There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don't want the world to know. Because I don't think they would ever forgive me.'

Harry also revealed his motivation to speak out so publicly against the Firm is to ultimately 'save [his family] from themselves'.

He detailed plans to derail the relationship between the Royal family and the press, expressing his belief that in doing so he can protect future divisions in the family.

After the dust has settled, he expressed a hope that he and Meghan can reconnect with his family - even if they don't particularly like his decision to share 'his truth'.

😂😂😂😂😂

Why would anyone be interested in another book after the first one proved so unreliable?

Ohgodthepain · 13/01/2023 23:07

If Harry really wants to 'save' William's children then he should spill the beans now, once and for all , no hints or threats of more to come . But he won't because it's all bollocks .

Actually I do wonder if rather than this new blackmail/threat if this will have to have government intervention rather than leaving it to the royal family. Harry has already made himself, our forces and civilians targets for the Taliban by revealing his kill count, he is now trying to undermine the constitution and how are country is viewed on the world stage, all of this won’t be going unnoticed by the real power in this country.

That's why I think they cannot be invited to the Coronation, whatever 'protocol' might require.

This is true. I am sure they are thinking about it.

So much for Harry's King and Country.

He may have to learn the hard way the consequences of wanting to keep the cake and eat it.

As someone said, a few uncomfortable nights on a tree would do him will. And less psychedelic drugs too!

stormywaves · 13/01/2023 23:08

I think he takes far more drugs than he is letting on tbh...The sooner they strip them both of their titles the better.

Cringe central. Doesn’t want to be part of the institution though….🙄

I know! I referenced this up thread but assumed I was late to the doormat knowledge party!

Yeah I wonder about those two

Boulshired · 13/01/2023 23:13

If the dog bowl story is true then Harry explaining to William about parenting would be a good bet for the context.

Patineur · 13/01/2023 23:13

Hilarious that he thinks he can protect William's children better than rsWilliam and Kate can. This is the man who has subjected his own children to years of bullying about how their father thinks about his mother as he rubs her face cream into his penis.

BreadInCaptivity · 13/01/2023 23:16

JonahCL9 · 13/01/2023 22:50

Well, wasn't expecting roussette to completely come down on side of PH is right to intervene himself in the parenting of others children.... but was struck by a theme emerging from her posts "simplistic view" 'looking at the bigger picture' - suggesting a distinct hierarchy (oh the irony) in comprehension and insight. Posters on the thread disagreeing with her are just not insightful or capable enough of achieving true enlightenment - a divine right to pronounce.

Indeed.

I'm surprised tbh. The poster in question has previously expressed some views very eloquently, even if I don't always agree (and on some issues I have agreed for the record).

From memory, previously the narrative was they did not like to see people bullied and that was the reason for standing up for H&M.

Now it's a republican stance.

That's ok - people's views and positions can change/develop/mature.

That said, as per my posts on this thread I'm getting increasingly baffled at posters defending the indefensible, especially in the context if the positions had been reversed and W had made such comments about H's children and parenting, then quite rightfully there would be an outpouring of righteous indignation.

ReunitedThorns · 13/01/2023 23:17

There will be a second book, it will be focused on his divorce.

ScruffMuffin · 13/01/2023 23:20

I'm mildly surprised that the book appears to be a bestseller. Only mildly, because I know all the interviews and Netflex 'documentaries' (haven't watched any of it) have created a frenzy around Harry and Meghan. I'm baffled as to so why so many people actually want to read his shite. The short extracts I've heard seem incredibly badly written. Also, we all know he has an interesting relationship with the truth... and zero relationship with his family. Hopefully for their sake, they will keep it that way.

Mezmer · 13/01/2023 23:21

He wants to chastise the RF for all of their perceived wrong-doings by humiliating them in a global stage.

it’s not a good look.

also there are many people of colour who despise what him and Meghan are doing.

firstly people of colour are not immune to upholding family values. Quite the opposite. Typically non white or non western cultures believe entirely in the sanctimony of family.

secondly, Meghan’s version of ‘racism’ is a far cry from the lived experiences of many non white people. They are clever enough to see through her and that she is using race as a platform to further her career. They are feeling - and have every right to feel - used.

it’s just most people / regardless of colour - are not on Twitter spouting about unconscious bias and critical race theory whilst supporting these ultra privileged charlatans.

so we sadly do not get to hear their voices.

TheFearIsNear · 13/01/2023 23:23

They'll have him bumped off before part 2, much like they did his mother.

Patineur · 13/01/2023 23:23

I wonder how realistic a threat this is? The ghost writer obviously struggled to get a half-way coherent account out of him for this book. Down the line, his brain will simply get ever more addled, and I suspect the publishers won't want to touch him with a bargepole.

TrashyPanda · 13/01/2023 23:24

What an arrogant tosspot.

he really is a nasty piece of work.

How dare he suggest he can bring up Williams kids better than their own parents. he needs to keep his big nose out of other peoples affairs - ironic, given how much criticism he has about interference in his own life. Not that Harry would know what irony is, cos he’s too stupid, as he keeps proving time after time.

love the idea of literally being able to wipe my feet on his “royal” doormat. I’m guessing that passed straight over his (balding) head. NB I am only mentioning his bald bounce as he is so critical of Williams. What’s sauce for the goose and all that.

Roussette · 13/01/2023 23:26

"From memory, previously the narrative was they did not like to see people bullied and that was the reason for standing up for H&M.

Can I just say before I say goodnight all, my stance has not changed one bit

In highlighting bullying, it was in the context of the RF not being fit for purpose in its current form and I've said this for a very long time. I have linked to sources about what I think is wrong about the Monarchy lots over the years. Many many links

I would like to link previous posts of mine from a long time ago but I don't think MN take too kindly to TAAT posts. I've not changed.

Thank you all for the input, sleep beckons, sleep well everyone 🙂

Doesn't just 'appear to be'. It's now in the Guinness book of world records

The mind boggles! I wouldn't read it if you paid me. I think I've heard enough!! 😬

Gymnopedie · 13/01/2023 23:36

he claims he has 'long-term' aim to 'fix' the monarchy!

The Duke also revealed that he felt “responsibility” to reform the monarchy for the sake of Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four. “I know that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare,” he said. “And that hurts, it worries me.”

Harry also revealed his motivation to speak out so publicly against the Firm is to ultimately 'save [his family] from themselves'.

I don't know about a second book, but he certainly seems to think he's the Second Coming. Let's not forget that when he visited the UK last year he made a point of going to see his grandmother (QE) 'to make sure she has the right people around her'.

Namechangefail1234 · 13/01/2023 23:38

What could be more intimate than his fart head story?
His story of using Elizabeth arden on his frost bitten todger? After thinking how it reminded him of his mum?
His hookups ? Including losing his virginity in a field?

Wow. I honestly think he's going to have a mental breakdown.

ScruffMuffin · 13/01/2023 23:42

@Namechangefail1234 it really sounds like he's in the middle of a mental breakdown right now, if he thinks people want to read about that stuff. And he seems to think he can save the world. There's something seriously wrong with him.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 13/01/2023 23:48

Could have sworn he said him and Meg were ready to move on in their Netflix documentary

He said it in the Bradby interview too ...

AngryGoblin · 13/01/2023 23:48

I think what he needs is a cease and desist letter
vile behaviour

Pumperthepumper · 13/01/2023 22:07

Well, yes - he’s grown up in a family who believe they have a divine right to rule. So I’d say that’s a safe bet. Imagine how what Charles’ god complex is like!

I feel like I have time travelled - are we talking about King Charles I? I though there was a civil war and a glorious revolution to sort all this out? Harry is a few hundred years late.
