Are we all going to sidestep the fact that 'gold digger' Meghan was paying for everything.
'we don't have money for her'

She was paying for heaters, lights and sofas. You name it.
All the while we are being fed that she is a 'gold digger' who has come into a privileged family.

She's clearly playing on the misogynistic Karen thing. She thinks people will find a bad tempered, unlikeable middle aged woman more believable and contemptible than a bad tempered, unlikeable middle aged man.

She's probably right, too.

But yes...that'll be her before she knows it. And no, of course she won't think it's funny then. I don't know what the stereotype du jour for women will be by then but somehow I doubt it'll be anything better.

I also find it really WEIRD that a teen girl would even do this? The internalised misogyny is off the scale, it’s sad and it’s outrageous that an adult woman is laughing about it too, I would be really upset if I knew a girl doing this.

Harry had access to his money from at least his 30th Birthday, so that is a red herring. The trustee prior to that was John Major, who was chosen by Diana (specifically to not have a royal but someone she trusted).

It was not Charles who controlled the civil list which pays for the working royals, that was the Queen. Charles was funding him (as is available in public documents).

What is at issue here is what Harry considered sufficient income. I suspect he had plenty of disposable income for normal people but he was moving in circles where they had silly money available so he felt he didn't.

This.

Harry’s total income (trust profits plus civil list) could easily have been at least £50,000+ per month. But, if you have a typical Kensington/Mayfair lifestyle that’s peanuts. Clothes, takeaways, restaurants at approx £1000 a couple a night, and that’s before you even think about drugs/alcohol, weekends away, private jets etc.

Lucky for Haz someone else supplies the jet, the drugs, the booze just because he is special little Harry it’s absolutely not precisely is because he is in the RF. He has never carried his own money the poor fella 😭

Just wandering back to the dress Meghan wore for the engagement photos for a moment - did she ever wear it again? I thought it was breathtaking. Totally inappropriate but beautiful.

Why didn't Harry by sofas ? Oh that's right he's an entitled brat who.thought the Queen, daddy', tax payers should furnish his house.

I think all of the working Royals and maybe others too get used to living off us, the proles. The very idea of having to pay for something out of their own personal fortunes is anathema to them. They get Grace and favour houses, clothing allowances, cars, etc paid for . Harry said somewhere he rarely carried money. How he paid for takeaways, TK Maxx and dinners out is a mystery. Not to mention his trips to the supermarket.
