Harry admits to bullying?

I actually really like Will, Kate and Meghan. I am not a massive fan of Harry though. However, this part of Spare makes me feel pretty uneasy. I had not made up my mind on whether I believed the bullying allegations, but I think this proves them true (at least to me.)

Obviously, this is Harry's version of events, and naturally there is two other sides here (the staff + William's side.)

Harry admits to bullying?

I thought MM's 6 week maternity leave with Archie was indicative that she was bringing the worst of American office culture.

I used to work in the States and the amount of people who wanted a pat on the back for working all hours and also not taking the paltry amount of vacation days that we got.

Yes same!! Going home on time was seen as being lazy. Staying late and being unpaid was seen as the ultimate competence even if the work done was of poor quality and the employee was so burnt out they could barely stay awake. Women taking maternity leave was considered entitled and wasn’t celebrated. Bosses much quicker to admonish over small errors and be very rude and threatening at the drop of a hat. Absolutely no consideration for staff well-being. And seeking it out was seen as suspicious

Didn’t Meghan say on one occasion after she’d reduced someone to tears “It’s not my job to coddle them”?

Yes. She sounds like the manager from hell. I mean, I've had some lousy ones but not ones that reduced staff to tears on a regular basis.

I can't see why PH says that his brother is repeating the 'press narrative' about his SIL ( I can, but it's silly). PW was there, in KP. He saw or heard what was happening.

I hope Touabti takes this further. She's been accused of dishonesty in print.

Not for the first time. Both Omid Scobie and Janina Gavankar said in interviews around the time the Oprah interview aired and the bullying allegations were published that the staff member who was mentioned in the papers as having left after difficulties was actually dismissed for gross misconduct.

How many staff did they need to do er… fuck all?

what were they constantly fighting? People on Twitter who wouldn’t say H&M were the bestest?

Laughing at this. So true. Their poor staff:

Quick! Someone on the Internet is wrong!

Also, I just checked, but the bullying allegations did not come out until after they left the UK. Really not sure how William was parroting the press about this.

He accuses William of telling the press about Meghan whilst at the same time parroting them. But then Harry never makes sense. H &M’s employees slumping over their desks crying is not a good work environment is it!

I think part of the problem here is that she is not, in fact, a manger at all. She is an actor. She was suddenly in charge of these people and had no idea of how to manage them. Being a good manager is a skill and needs time to learn. Barking orders is not management.

So far, his own words seem to have literally confirmed every single bit of bad press the two of them have had over the past 5 years....

Yes. It’s so wierd he doesn’t see it. I really believe he’s so addled with drugs and bitterness that he’s not functioning as a proper, rational person. The thing that really makes my blood boil with him is his constant deflections. My ex used to do this and it sent me into near madness. Why are the pair of them so bloody thin skinned? Is it a trait of narcissism? If they went by the mantra ‘Your opinion of me is none of my business’ they wouldn’t be so bloody annoying.

I've had a theory for a long time that she thought KP was like a studio. The star walks in and everyone falls over themselves to make her life easier and can be berated for falling short because well, she's the star and they're just dispensable minions.

And I'm baffled that PW was simultaneously briefing the press but 'spouting the press narrative.'

Odd, controlling behaviour for somebody who has barely worked in a structured environment throughout her decades of employment life. I suppose somebody will reference that she sold frozen yoghurt as a Saturday job in her teens.
