Just read this on Twitter

Any communication between the Sussexs and the institution will be by the Law firm representing the Royal family.

Harry can no longer get through to his father, brother, not even their aides.

All communications is now via the palace lawyers.

Harry crowdfund the fight back I'm good for 20 quid.

Hankunamatata · 10/01/2023 10:18

Sensible imo for both sides

Orangefir · 10/01/2023 10:20

@Museya15

I know. Harry actually said of the PB book :

‘ it was merely one man's self-justifying, self-centring version of events’

I mean you can’t write this stuff! he’s the gift that keeps giving !!!

RoseMadderAsHell · 10/01/2023 10:24

What's the point of the gun in the case?
Hardly ready for an instant response.

LuluBlakey1 · 10/01/2023 10:24

I don't think that's official. It was a response to a request by a tv channel. Has there been an actual statement?

Nurserymumm · 10/01/2023 10:24

lightand · 10/01/2023 09:54

Everything going just as Meghan is with her own family.

Omg yes 100 percent. Now they're both isolated from their families bar Doria.. I can't help thinking that if Harry had married Chelsy or Cressida he'd be happily ensconced in royal life & the British public would still love Prince Harry. Unfortunately for Harry both girls were smart & wanted none of the bullshit.

GrasstrackGirl · 10/01/2023 10:25

Some people need to get a grip, it's a random tweet so it's believable but Harry's book isn't?

Come the fuck on.

Orangefir · 10/01/2023 10:25

^ and the only relationship he communicayes seems to be with his dead mother. It’s bonkers

Orangefir · 10/01/2023 10:25

*communicates

The case has his sandwiches in. One round of white bread with cheese spread, a frube and some pom bears.

As a parent I would never of let it get to the stage my child had to leave the country. I would of worked with them to let then have their half in and out solution

They didn't have to leave the country. They chose to. Harry still has a home in England where he could have stayed quietly if he had wished, with full security built in. Harry, biologically at least, is a grown man and is responsible for his own choices.

No, none whatsoever.

It's just how one third-party (TV channel) request was handled

Onnabugeisha · 10/01/2023 08:46

Don’t be daft. Harry will have to use his own lawyer to communicate with the palace lawyers. The palace lawyers are on permanent retainer- so won’t cost the royal family a penny extra.

No, he won't have to. He may choose to (if this story is actually true - the tweet linked by the OP is not an official source), but he is at liberty to talk to the palace lawyers himself without using a lawyer of his own.

Redkettle · 10/01/2023 10:28

I don't blame Harry. His family made his mothers life hell. His stepmother the reason the marriage ended. His mum dies, father does not seem to step up. He does everything with wills and Kate. Meets someone who they don't try with by the sounds of it, meanwhile they all leak stories about him and his wife to make them look better and don't defend the fake news.

I'm surprised he didn't tell them all to sod off sooner. If he'd come on here stating everything that had happened you'd all be saying go no contact. He is saying he's had enough with the press, the establishment and while he wants a relationship with his family it will be on his terms now. His family is now his wife and children.

All seems pretty admirable to me.

"As a parent I would never of let it get to the stage my child had to leave the country. I would of worked with them to let then have their half in and out solution"
A half in half out situation is not workable. First, what does it mean? If you are a 'working royal', ie you are representing the Crown as a member of the Royal Family, you are not supposed to monetise these connections, which is what H&M wanted to do. Remember, Meghan apparently could not understand why she was not paid to shake hands on a tour.
Members of the RF are not supposed to accept free clothes from designers, for example.
The late Queen realised that they could not be working members of the RF, while accepting commercial deals. However, there was nothing to stop them from remaining as family members in the UK (similar to the Tindals, Beatrice and Eugenie, etc, who are not 'working' members)

DerangedViper · 10/01/2023 10:32

What's interesting is that though it's been pointed out repeatedly that this interpretation has no proper foundation, so many posters think that if it were to happen it would be both reasonable and proportionate

vera99 · 10/01/2023 10:32

I see the hand of Camilla in this wrecked 2 marriages already would be happy to bag a third.

@Royalinstablog is not a RF account.

There are zillions of fake 'Royal' accounts on Twitter where 'jokers' post all kinds of stuff.

I can't understand why no one has spotted this and is joining the thread without looking at Twitter and sussing it out.

Bestcatmum · 10/01/2023 10:33

StarsSand · 10/01/2023 08:55

This seems unnecessarily spiteful from the RF.

There's nothing to suggest he was contacting them or even trying to. He quite consistently said he wanted space and time from them.

How sad and ugly.

It isn't spiteful at all. I've been reading the kindle version of the book all morning and Harry is exposing royal life in excruciating detail. Things that don't need to be exposed how he thinks Charles was a useless father because he wasn't a hugger etc etc. I think King Charles must be devastated to have to do this but as far as I can see he has no choice. Harry even mocks Williams bald head. He's a huge security risk for the whole RF.

Do you seriously think it is 'admirable' to use your father's terrible anguish from being bullied so much he did not think he would 'survive' his school experience to tell the world a man, that is now King btw, carries a teddy bear?
Do you think that was right to 'sell' his father's deeply private information for tens of millions?

His mother had multiple affairs very early on in the marriage, and created alot of the 'hell' you describe herself, or have you conveniently forgotten the truth?

His father did all he could to be a good parent, by the sounds of it, even in Harry's words. None of us are perfect, including you. I am sure your dc could list your faults to the world if they wanted to.

Selling and exploiting your family for money is never ever admirable.

They've all done it. Charles said it about the queen in his interview!

vera99 · 10/01/2023 10:35

They would be mad to get lawyer-ed up ffs the Andrew gagging order ends in February in they want war then this is the way to do it.
