William and Harry at Prince Philips Funeral

I don’t usually post on this board, but I found the account of what passed between William and Harry at Prince Philips funeral to be heartbreaking. Especially when William tries to keep hold of Harry and tells him that he loves him.

Where will it all end?

Find it a bit weird that a poster has made up a whole narrative about Beatrice and Eugenie not liking Kate and Kate didn’t like Meghan because Eugenie introduced Harry to Meghan.

When that doesn’t fit story Harry told Or match the whole ‘I didn’t know who he was or anything about him’ tale Meghan tried to spin, either.

Sadly its continuing already with the next generation. The press are being told to filter George's words while Louis is being portrayed as being a handful.

How do you know this?

I thought they were introduced by the woman whose privacy they wanted to protect (said in the engagement interview) but Harry then revealed as Violet Von Westenholz

Eugenie and Beatrice did not introduce them, it was indeed Violet Von Westenholz.

So were Meghan and Eugenie friends before she met Harry (as M has claimed) ?

Not seen any evidence either way - but she didn't introduce them.

Possibly more of a friends in common situation than a proper established friendship

Just googled what Meghan said as I didn’t recall this. I believe her words were ‘Eugenie and I had known each other before’

It’s difficult to say what she means from that. Sounds like more than just met, briefly once, but isn’t saying they are friends.

I found it really odd that that if she had known who Eugenie was before, she assumed her Dad, Prince Andrew, was the Queen’s assistant as Harry tells us in Spare. He takes it as proof that she really hadn’t googled the family.

Even if, despite meeting a member of the Royal family, she never bothered to google anything about Eugenie’s background (unlikely), when she met the Queen for the first time at the Royal Lodge, where she told us in both Oprah and Netflix that Andrew’s family, including Eugenie, was there, it therefore must be that Eugenie did not say “by the way Meghan, this is my Mum and Dad” (incredibly unlikely, given it was their house they were visiting…).

Re masks - for quite a while the World Health Organisation said we didn't need to wear masks.

Meghan walked a long way down the aisle on her own, until Prince Charles stepped out. It reminded me of Maria Julie Andrews in 'The Sound Of Music'.
It's a shame that memories of the day have gone a bit sour now.

She knew exactly who he's was IMO and not just from media.

She plays a cunning game but Harry is not a fool and has his own agenda
