Tiara-gate unveiled (shameless pun)

The fact that meghan said, and Harry believed, she had spent “hours and hours” with dressmakers getting the original scalloped tiara to match the scallop veil edge shows, IMO, one of two things:

  1. meghan is a wild exaggerator and Harry is stupid. I had a high end dress custom made for my wedding. For this type of thing she would just need to hand over to the extremely experienced professionals. Meghan would have no input to this.
  2. meghan is an enormous control freak who stood over them for hours to make sure it was perfect

Harry trying to paint this unbelievably first world issue as arduous is yet another example of how ludicrously out of touch with reality she is. Poor Meghan, she went with another diamond tiara and hours of her time were wasted. I mean she had to take off time from her busy schedule of borrowing lipglosses and battling Willy’s finger to boss dressmakers around.

there is also an amusing quote somewhere about how Harry reassured Charles Meghan would not be a large cost addition for him as she “makes her own clothes”. Did she borrow her entire character from Snow White? Seal singing, dress making?

No-one thinks the colour of a wedding dress denotes virginity.
I don't blame M for wanting much more expensive and bigger dresses or trying to recreate a Disney princess moment since she seems to love those references. But most people in their 30s on a second marriage just don't have those impulses. There are thousands of threads on here with women choosing dresses for their second, third weddings. Ime opting out of giant white dresses is a class and age decision rather than a virginity one.

I guess that’s your opinion and experience but it’s not at all mine nor is it universal.

Since this thread is kind of about clothes and things, I see Harry has also confirmed Meghan did kept the “gifts” that she was sent by various companies. This is a complete breach not just of Royal but also all public sector guidelines.

Harry’s justification is that she shared them out with her staff. That doesn’t make it better, Harry.

I think that's disgusting behaviour. Public sector staff have to record so much as a bottle of wine - and certainly wouldn't be allowed to keep anything as expensive. Who says she gave it away, Harold?? He's so dim he would never notice whether she did or not. The stuff wasn't hers to give either.

I’d imagine she chose what was shared pretty carefully!
