But I agree with you, I genuinely think he might have something more serious in the MH line than he's admitted, e.g. he may be bipolar, and making poor choices that ultimately seem like a form of self-harm.

Obviously I have NO IDEA and it may not be helpful to even say it, but I do think the way he's behaving is so reminiscent of people I know with similar troubles who are not in full control.
