As per the thread title.

Right from the word go, Meghan and Harry were not telling the truth. About anything.

Now the Netflix series has come out it just proves it, over and over again.

I am so baffled by the level of hatred seen on Mumsnet today, and lack of critical thinking beyond the agenda fed by the tabloids.

Bullshit. And as he has 3 mixed race grandchildren I think he is completely out of order. It ties in with other remarks he's made recently too. Can only hold onto to hoping (!) it is a change of personality due to aging, and this is not the real him speaking. I find it very upsetting actually that he's becoming this small minded person. Although I still love him really and remember the decent kind man he used to be until recently.

But for younger M&H haters again, what's your excuse?

I think they are entitled bellends, however they have proved their point about the media.
Have you seen how the Mail and The Times have covered it? Featuring every juicy element, bar accusations of constant hounding that caused such distress that she felt suicidal, fearful for her life and maybe caused a miscarriage. No newspaper has denied fabricating a joint statement to make William look better.

Have you actually watched the series? Or jumping on the hate wagon and believing the media?

I find it a bit that there was all this filming, right from the off. No wonder the rf were a bit wary of her. We are only seeing now that everything was being documented, but courtiers/staff would have observed and raised their concerns.

I did see something an aeon ago that M had been taking pics/recording in Anmer Hall and Kate was very displeased.

They do it because they're guaranteed a lot of replies. Just lots of saddos trying to come up with a different slant on the same subject so they can start a thread and get a weird thrill from people replying - lots of replies = popularity to these people. It's quite tragic really. Ironic that they accuse Meghan of attention seeking

Really? If you weren't interested in them it wouldn't bother you that they have a documentary. Loads of people I'm not interested in have tv shows, that doesn't offend me.

Yes they did . There is literally a film of Harry saying it . What they meant was they wanted to control their privacy and release what ever they wanted.

The very similar pictures (pregnant or wearing an off the shoulder dress) and totally different headlines lark is quite staggering.

Lying from the start? No. But a lot of people are determine to find fault with everything they do. Seems the palace machine has done its work well.

Meghan lied to the court and had to correct her statement. She and Omid agreed to tell the court they hadn’t collaborated on his book and later both has to amend their court submission

What you meant to say OP is that you NEED people to believe H&M lied because you do not want anyone to express any sympathy, compassion or understanding for this couple. There’s no pleasure or satisfaction to be gained from that, is there? I used to feel sorry for H&M until I discovered MN and discovered that there are far more bitter lonely souls in need of sympathy.

I highly doubt Bernice King would use the phrase, ‘play the race card .’ So I went looking and can find no evidence she said such a thing to Meghan.

This is just embarrassing. Slagging off a woman you've never met, what is wrong with some people?

I just do not understand why 'adults' are so weirdly obsessed with Meghan.
