Royal Family response to Harry and Meghan

Any predictions? Any recommendations?
(And any thoughts when we get the response?).

HappyHamsters · 05/12/2022 12:51

No response is the best response

Peasepuddingbloodycold · 05/12/2022 12:52

If at all possible I think the previous response of "Memories differ. We love Harry and Meghan and children and wish them well" followed by business as usual is the best response if at all possible.

Will be interesting to see if the accusations require something stronger.

I agree. What, if anything, will lead to a stronger response do you think?

OP posts:
Coxspurplepippin · 05/12/2022 12:54

Get tae fuck would be wonderful but I think saying absolutely nothing would be very effective. The responses to the Netflix trailer and on MSN and other websites show many have had enough of the self aggrandising of the Montecito Two.

SirChenjins · 05/12/2022 12:56

No response. Give H&M enough rope as they say…

I’m sure the lawyers are watching it all very carefully though.

Novella4 · 05/12/2022 12:56

If the 'royals ' respond it will go badly for them

If the 'royals ' don't respond it will go badly for them .

The UK monarchy is a rotten lie of an institution. It has survived limping into this century mainly because Elizabeth's great age allowed her to span two epochs .

Their corruption is being repeatedly highlighted today ( I think they were probably just as bad 50/ 60 years ago but pathetic deference protected them ) and shining a light on them is all it takes .

I thought Charles was bad but William is even worse . Ignoring all the speculation about him , he just appears completely inauthentic .
He may be being sincere but what matters is that he comes across as insincere .
People sense it

sashagabadon · 05/12/2022 12:59

Hopefully no response at all

Peasepuddingbloodycold · 05/12/2022 12:59

But inauthenticity =/= corrupt. That kind of "evidence" is not going to bring down the monarchy.

I don't think he comes across as insincere at all

SirChenjins · 05/12/2022 12:59

Inauthentic 😂 you’ve been listening to one too many Sussex witterings.

LadyKenya · 05/12/2022 12:59

Oh how original, another sad thread being started up to give more air/ publicity etc to Harry, and Meghan. Why are you not just ignoring it all yourself then OP? That would make much more sense. Then again I do wonder about the sort of person who starts these types of threads.

Topseyt123 · 05/12/2022 13:01

No response at all is probably best, but I guess it will be damned if they do and damned if they don't.

LuluBlakey1 · 05/12/2022 13:03

I am of the opinion that H and M are best ignored. They are hypocrites and, in my opinion, manipulators of the truth if not liars.
They wanted a 'private life' with 'less scrutiny and press interest'. Yet they have gone out of their way to expose their 'private live' , create scrutiny and press interest- made podcasts, given controversial, high-profile tv and magazine interviews, made a Nextflix series about their 'truth' and written an autobiography. They talk about the RF constantly- that's where they make their money from- over £100, million. The Archwell Foundation has barely given any money to charity although millions has been donated. They are a disgrace.

safetyfreak · 05/12/2022 13:03

They should respond, its getting ridiculous now.

They should also take away Harry titles.

Theunamedcat · 05/12/2022 13:05

"Bring down the monarchy" so they will all just retire live in their personal (huge houses) and use there personal wealth and be able to tell the press to fuck off not have to "be kind" and accept bullshit from everyone travel the world and not have to shake hands or kiss arse

Sounds like utter hell 🤣

Theunamedcat · 05/12/2022 13:06

Doesn't that take an act of Parliament?

Has Charles asked for it?

Quitelikeit · 05/12/2022 13:07

Not sure why if things were so bad Harry didn’t go and talk to his father?

why did he have to tell the media (who he said he hates btw)?

he’s only making himself look foolish. No family is perfect but what I don’t understand is why they are not telling us about Ms Markles sister/father/brother etc?! Surely what they all did was bad too!!!

Thistooshallpsss · 05/12/2022 13:09

Surely the question is whether we as a nation want to continue with a constitutional monarchy or decide on something else to put in its place. The royal family cannot decide to quit, individually they can but there will always constitutionally be someone next in line. I am personally ambivalent but the impetus has to come from the people and pressure on politicians to make it part of their agenda or the formation of a Republican Party. At the moment I don’t see much enthusiasm in the country given all the pressing short and long term problems this country faces.

HappyHamsters · 05/12/2022 13:10

Unless there is slander or libel against members of the RF, media or members of the public why should anyone respond. Their bleating only makes them look ridiculous and self absorbed, all that shite about being financially cut off when they are both multi millionaires and live in a big fuck off mansion was laughable, he is a grown man, why does he think daddy should bail him out. .

Georgeskitchen · 05/12/2022 13:13

Dignified silence and the stripping of titles will convey the Royal Fams feelings loud and clear

Badger1970 · 05/12/2022 13:15

From reading another thread, I think removing titles won't happen due to the complexity of the issue but I do think Charles will stop them using them unless they are in the UK.

Any other response isn't required. "Recollections may vary" was all that ever needed to be said.

Novella4 · 05/12/2022 13:17

I really hope they do take away the ridiculous made up names ( all titles are ludicrous )

It would be a another massive PR prat fall for the 'royals' but I suspect tue penny has dropped even with them

HappyHamsters · 05/12/2022 13:21

Have they ever been or are likely to visit Sussex, has Andrew ever been to York. Pointless titles considering neither of them fulfill that role.

Persimmo · 05/12/2022 13:22

Grey Rock always the best response when dealing with narcissist. You can take that to apply to Harry or to the rest of them as you will.

Venetiaparties · 05/12/2022 13:22

Stripping of all titles as a starting point.
If it is serious slander I hope it will be something like"

'Buckingham Palace lawyers will proceed with an update in due course. Members of the Royal household will not be making any comments now or in the future'
