Wonderful! Now we have three : Revenge, Harry's memoir and Omid's new one. Then Harry and Meghan have a four-book deal so there'll be three more books from them... And then the Netflix show...Then Meghan running for President.. Will they ever run out of ideas?
I really hope they give up these ideas, do good work and quietly raise Archie and Lili, because if they keep writing dramatic books the kids might get press attention or get teased. They have both had mental health problems in the past, so surely the negative inevitable press coverage of all this will make them feel worse?

I presume this is a ghost written book then like Finding Freedom? If so, another vehicle for H and M to tell their ‘truth’? When will it ever end…
They literally have no shame.

What I don’t understand is this . According to H and M supporters the couple are living a wonderful life , very happy ( despite Harry looking like he has chewed a wasp) etc etc . They are away from a supposedly toxic environment with money offers pouring in .
So why the need to keep Co- operating with Scobie ? On top of the OW interview , H’s book and another one to be published after HM dies. Why ?

He's a royal reporter, it's his job.

There are tons of royal reporters who have spent decades doing nothing but earn money writing about the royals, and some of them have done objectively appalling things (like defend rapists, and of course the infamous video where a group of royal reporters accepted money to tell lies about Harry and Meghan by pretending they'd seen the Oprah video before it aired) or blatantly act as propagandists and mouthpieces for royals.

There are royal reporters who are in Charles' pocket and act as a mouthpiece for Charles. Others who are Cambridge mouthpieces and write whatever Will and Kate want out there. William and Kate literally hired a tabloid editor's longtime best friend to be their CEO after he was exposed as sending emails about Meghan to that tabloid editor! During the war of the Windsors both Charles and Diana had their own pet RRs. The whole lot of them are corrupt and manipulate the media.

But apparently that's all fine, it's perfectly acceptable for all the dozens of other royal reporters who act as RF mouthpieces to do their job, it's only unacceptable if it's someone who's even a tiny bit pro-Meghan or willing to give Meghan a fair shake.

This clearly has nothing to do with Harry and Meghan and I don't believe they had much to do with Finding Freedom (obv they did cooperate but hardly "ghost written!"). The idea that they're secretly writing these books is just stupid hateful conspiracy theory. Omid does what every single other royal reporter does: write tabloid articles and trashy tell-all books to cash in on royalty. And Omid clearly has sources that aren't related to Harry and Meghan since he writes about other royals and scoops things that Harry and Meghan can't know since they're no longer around. Why would he stop doing his job? Why would he stop something that's given him easy money and fame?

Why do you single him out and not any of the other royal reporters doing exactly the same as him?

Because they are proper journalists and he is writing utter trash. I did read FF. I got it on kindle then got a refund. The amount of cheesily written detail is clearly from the horses mouth. The cringeworthy Mills and Boon style is very much on a par with The Bench and the interviews M has given. Anyone with an ounce of integrity would never have gone anywhere near it.

Isn't he the one that lied to court and said there was no input from Prince Harry's team, and then very long emails to the contrary came to light?

Victoria Arbiter, who was caught on camera making up malicious lies about Harry and Meghan?

Tom Sykes, who was one of the people to start the Prince William and Rose Hanbury affair rumour, by writing a gossipy article claiming that the daughter of an Earl had told him about the affair over dinner, and that he'd later had it confirmed by two other reliable sources?

Tom Bower, who's been exposed as a liar by multiple people quoted in the book (such as the man who wrote the Vanity Fair piece, and the woman who organised Meghan's Rwanda trip who confirmed that his claims that she turned up with a suitcase full of outfits and used it as a fashion shoot was all lies), and who made racist statements belittling entire populations by claiming the only reason Will and Kate's Caribbean tour went so badly and why Caribbean politicians spoke out about colonialism and desire for independence during was because they'd listened to Meghan's "racism nonsense." Basically claiming that respected political world leaders can't possibly have opinions and knowledge on their own countries and on colonialism.

You mean the private email Jason Knauf forwarded to a tabloid (not the tabloid his schoolmate edits, who he also leaked private emails to, a different tabloid) in order to attack Meghan, before William rewarded him with the top CEO job? The same Jason Knauf who was forced onto Meghan in order to spy on and leak nasty stories about her? The Jason who's the centre of all kinds of scandals and corruption allegations?

This is copy and pasted from the book itself: "We have spoken to close friends of Harry and Meghan, royal aides and palace staff (past and present), the charities and organisations they have built long-lasting relationships with and, when appropriate, the couple themselves." That is literally a direct quote from the book. (Omid clarified elsewhere that he has never interviewed either Harry or Meghan, merely briefly exchanged a few words.)

Can you provide a link to Omid testifying that he didn't speak to anyone on H&M's team, because why on earth would he say that when the actual book states that he did? (All I can find is him saying he never formally interviewed her, and that they didn't collaborate directly.)

The email is hardly a smoking gun, it doesn't show any direct contact between Omid and Meghan and only that Meghan provided some basic biographical details when asked. It does show that Jason Knauf pushed himself into the writing of the book, and given all the questions over his relationship with the Cambridges, Jason is the one who should be answering questions about his involvement and agenda in the book.

The only person who could have known how she peed in the bush in Africa was Meghan. Omid Scobie clearly got it all from the horse's mouth.
