And I am too. Only wish I could look as good as Kate! I wonder how they will celebrate?

I don't know if she has an eating disorder and I really hope she doesn't. But she is very slim and noticeably much slimmer than before she was married.

ajandjjmum · 08/01/2022 10:32

So the only evidence of Kate having an eating disorder is the fact that she is very slim - and that her body has changed since she was married. The fact that she looks fit and healthy is irrelevant.

RoyalFamilyFan · 08/01/2022 10:34

I cant say whether Kate is fit or healthy or not. I think she looked healthier at her pre-marriage weight.
But plenty of people arent healthy but look it. My friend with cancer is fit and looks very healthy.

ajandjjmum · 08/01/2022 10:40

Desperate.

UserBot989 · 08/01/2022 10:47

I think she is in the habit of being quite restrained. Very late low carb brunch, early low carb dinner. No snacking. Narrow eating window. V low carb. I wouldnt say she finds it that hard.

cherryonthecakes · 08/01/2022 10:59

Many women aren't their pre-wedding body type 10 years after marriage.
It's very nasty to speculate that she might have an eating order just because she's slim. If she weighed more now, would people speculate that she was lazy for not shifting the baby weight or have an eating disorder like binge eating ?

UserBot989 · 08/01/2022 11:06

My guess, sHE'S discovered low carb since before she got married. A few things have been said like she snacks on olives. The classic low carb snack. About 12-15 years ago low carb wasn't as well known as it is now and like most people she probably watched what she ate but with an eye on calories. Now I'm guessing, she never eats bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, but eliminating all of that leaves space for eating healthily. Because all other veg, fish, eggs, cheese, nuts, meet, olive oil, all ok.

a lot of womens shape changes after having children some are luck and go slim.
(not me though)

So for Kate's 40th birthday, the tabloids decided to run a bizarre puff piece. As usual there is denigrating MM - only this time more spiteful and vile. Instead of just praising KM's work, it goes on about her looks and in the process makes some even more vile comments about other women's appearance.

It reminds me a bit of the tatler article which was meant to elevate KM while trashing MM and it backfired. KP's pr never learns. Surely this garbage would have landed on their desk, they either sanction it or ok'd or maybe they said No comment (which is not helpful). Why not say anything about it, they are good at denials, they should make things clear that they are not ok with this. It does not make KM look good at all. Some birthday gift this is.

I saw that article.

Absolutely revolting. That 'journalist' should be ashamed of herself

rubicscubicle · 08/01/2022 12:15

It's Bojo's former mistress. I'm surprised she did not write about Carrie (she inserts her name in everything).

And the way she is so racist, we all know what she means by 'British beauty'.

I don't think journalists get approval from KP before publishing something - particularly when (I assume - haven't read it) that it regurgitates old photos and stories.
cherryonthecakes · 08/01/2022 12:25

I can't imagine KP approving/denying opinion columns. The columnists are often big egos who wouldn't accept being told what to say.

The Sun column was unnecessarily nasty but not surprising from someone who was BJ's mistress. I'd also bet that she has been critical of Kate in the past but brown nosing because the picking on Kate tide has turned somewhat.

rubicscubicle · 08/01/2022 12:40

KP definitely gets the head up.

That is why Tatler was in arms about their article, because KP was in cahoots.

That is why the three houses all issued a joint statement for the BBC programme of Princes and Press.

They would have seen the headline, and saw the wicked witch comment, and had no. problem, as long as it says good things about KM.

Yep. She doesn't even try to hide it.

How ironic she criticises Queen Letizia as being perilously thin yet to me she looks less thin than Kate.

I just don't understand why this horrible creature couldn't do the sycophantic Kate piece without tearing other women down.

Seemslikeagoodidea · 08/01/2022 20:22

Yesterday the BBC showed pictures of Kate attending the Bond movie premiere, which I hadn't seen before. Kate wore a dazzling gold dress - she looked absolutely stunning, as glamorous as any film star. The designers must love working for her, she could make any outfit look good. Looks aren't everything, but I do think glamorous people add something to events like that.

upinaballoon · 08/01/2022 22:11

It was a Jenny Packham-designed dress. After she was married and was 'going away' she came down some stairs in a silvery dress. I think that was also a Jenny Packham dress.

Sorry, I'm telling more lies than a reputable tabloid. She does indeed wear Jenny Packham clothes, but for the evening reception on her wedding day it was from the Alexander McQueen establishment - a lady designer.

That’s a dreadful piece @rubicscubicle
Misogynistic, racist , spiteful.
