The new year photo of them was nice : I'm not a royalist , but they looked relaxed and happy and she doesn't look nearly 40 either!

I am sure Kate has very subtle baby Botox and well placed fillers, she really hasn’t aged in the past 10 years

She looks a damn sight better than me at 40 so fair play.

It was a spelling mistake

I turned 40 last summer and had lovely celebrations with friends and family. I would have loved one big party but had to split it into several smaller bashes to comply with the rules at the time. Am very grateful that I got to celebrate it in real life at all, unlike some friends who had theirs earlier in the year. I’m sure Kate and William will celebrate in style.

Re affair rumours… Giles Coren who spread the gossip has admitted that there is no truth to it but some want to still believe it. It has been said that the rumours have resurfaced to deflect from the good publicity with the piano playing. My understanding is that An injunction is unlikely as it could only apply domestically and not internationally and there hasn’t been anything in any press anywhere.

@Blueroses99 i'm don't actually care if the affair happened or not, I more interested in the press angle. I didn't consider the deflection aspect, seems a slight overreaction.

There is definitely press, I typed it into google & a yahoo story came up which linked to other articles.

I cant believe they are coming up to 40! I think if PW did have an Affair then they seem to have got over it ,and look happy together now . I wish them well and hope they have a great birthday each!

I'm sorry but that sounds completely and utterly ridiculous, and laughable. Who do you think is trying to deflect from Kate playing a piano?!

If there is definitely press, why the need to mention it on a birthday thread or to ask the “fans”?

40 is hardly ancient so why are people saying she doesn't look her age! Also maybe she looks good because she has all manner of help at her fingertips. I spent my 40th at a music festival in mud and rain it was quite fun I suppose !!
