You suspect wrong then. I have seen far far worse on the hundreds of H&M threads. If you think that this 'gossip' is worse, you haven't read them properly. If I were to type just some of the names, rumours, slurs and insults directed at them... I would be here till a week next Tuesday.

Even on a current thread now there's a poster suggesting she had surrogacy babies because there's a rumour going round and she hasn't sued to the contrary, so it must be true. Yesterday I read that.

I have seen them and a lot of them have rightly been deleted. A lot more should have been.

I don’t think that threads are automatically deleted if it is about H&M (we both know that isn’t true) but I think this one might well have gone into the ether if it had been about M instead of K.

I think that the M fans are quicker to complain when they see a thread that they don't like hence them being zapped quickly. Funny how concerns about people's looks or unsubstantiated rumours doesn't go the other way.

What about posts that speculate about the weight of an obviously healthy woman? Or is it only not acceptable when the speculation involves M & H?

The speculation about eating disorder is an observation that can be seen with the eye though. Eg. if you look at Kate's photos from long ago, you can see a stark change. So the speculation is not some tin foil head conspiracy theory nonsense.

The speculation is just as cruel in both cases.

A photoshopped bump that goes down to the knees? How realistic. does that sound? How many of those have you seen? Scientifically and biologically, can a baby bump move? It is obviously taking a pop or you believe in aliens.
Weight loss or eating disorder on the other hand is a serious issue, it's not pop taking.

I think it's understandable that people will speculate about Kate's health and the possibility that she could have an eating disorder, simply because she looks very thin and lots of people would find it extremely hard to maintain such a trim figure. Her face, skin and hair all look healthy, and she appears relaxed and happy, so I don't think she has an eating disorder, but only her close friends, family and/or doctor would be in a position to know the facts. If the Duchess is reading this - Happy birthday Kate, you look fab!
