So cute, love the photos of him at Wembley.
Especially the one of him hugging his Mum in excitement. Despite their wealth/ privilege they do seem to be a ‘normal’ family.
Wasn’t too fussed on Kate’s red earrings, though.

He was so cute and looked like he had a great time. Wish they would have let him wear a football shirt though. Or do the rules of the box prohibit this?

I’m not into football or the royal family but I saw these pictures yesterday and they were very cute. He looked like he was having a fab time! I loved him cheering and hugging his mum, so cute.

Kate comes out of self isolation right into 2 Wimbledon finals and the euro finals. What a bloody life.

Wonder why they felt they had to stick the poor kid in a shirt and tie though. Can't have been comfortable

I know they’re nothing like a normal family but they do seem to try and make it as normal as possible for their children.
Albeit not many little boys get the chance to watch the cup final from the best seat in the house!

I think the cameras were deliberately panning away from them at end. No pics of sobbing disappointed George to guilt the Italians!

I can't work out why he wasn't wearing an England strip. I remember how out of place Charles always looked when he was young and I wouldn't have thought they would want that for George.

there was a very brief shot, and william was rubbing his back, so sad for a young child, tiring and sad

It was so lovely to see him be allowed to act like a 7 year old. I'm glad they didn't focus in on him at the end given what happened to that poor German girl.

There's something fairly tragic about a small child dressed up like a middle-aged Rotarian at a football match. Even if dresscodes stipulate no replica England strips which I don't think they do, it's only club colours that aren't allowed surely he could just have dressed like an actual child.

Saw lots of other children in the crowds, all had England tops on, painted faces and were either hugging parents or shoulder to shoulder with them cheering and laughing.

Our royals?
Suited and booted, stony faced and looking totally disinterested in one another.

I mean who takes a child to a football match in a suit?
When will they learn? It just makes them look like they have literally no clue about how to integrate and earn the publics love and support.

No the royal box has a dress code. It's no different from a kid being put in a suit for a wedding.

Imagine the arse-handing you'd get on AIBU if you wanted to take your kid to a wedding in a football kit! Certain situations have a dress code, that's fine. Plus all the other men around him were in suits, there's a chance he would have felt the odd one out dresses differently.

Also, it's not like it's going to be an ill-fitting, off the peg hire from Moss Bros. It will be tailored to his measurements and I expect will be quite comfortable!

George looked like he was loving it. Little cutie.
