Is there something seriously wrong with him?

Quite possibly. He is obsessed with the media. It really has unhinged him.

alliwantisagoodnightssleep · 19/04/2020 18:33

I think he has now realised just how irrelevant he has become. The man makes my blood boil. We have just had news today that a very good friend of my husband has died of Covid 19, he was a doctor in an ICU.

Haggisfish · 19/04/2020 18:36

I kind of know what he means. I think he means the huge swell of community spirit that we can see in the uk, not that the virus and it’s effects aren’t as bad as we think. It’s a small snippet taken out of context.

maa1992 · 19/04/2020 18:42

Ugh I'm sick of seeing him and Meghan everywhere

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 19/04/2020 18:44

Tbf hes right about some corners of the media just trying to report sensational headlines

EthelMayFergus · 19/04/2020 18:47

So sorry alliwantisagoodnightssleep, really puts things into perspective when you have news like that.

Harry needs to appreciate that no-one cares what his every unqualified thought is. That part of his life is over.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 19/04/2020 18:48

Speaking on the podcast he said: 'I think what has happened especially in the UK is the very best of the human spirit and it's proving that things are better than we are led to believe through certain corners of the media

Certainly when you're in isolation it can be very worrying when you're sitting there and the only information you're getting is from certain news channels, but then if you're out and about and you're on the right platforms you can really sense this human spirit coming to the forefront.

This is what he said in context. He is having a go at the media again but actually he is massively missing the point of what things are like for many, many people, just because they have risen to the challenge and are making the best of a terrible situation. It has nothing to do with being "on the right platforms".

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 19/04/2020 18:48

Because, I suspect, he realises that he's made a huge mistake and he's desperate to seem relevant still

derxa · 19/04/2020 18:51

He really needs to be quiet.

ITasteSpring · 19/04/2020 18:51

From the quotes from Harry in that article, it seemed to me he was talking about how everyone was coming together as a nation to support each other. I.e he was saying' some parts of the media would lead you to believe we are a crappy country where everyone is out for themselves but what this has shown is that actually people are coming together to help each other.'

He didn't at all seem to be saying that the medical/ life threatening part of the virus wasn't that bad.

fascinated · 19/04/2020 18:53

God, they are so tedious . Remember this face.... Soooo caring.

Why is Harry talking?
missyB1 · 19/04/2020 18:56

Jeez he fucked off to America but still insists we must listen to him. He wanted a quiet life (supposedly), so why doesn’t he just keep quiet. Harry we don’t care what you think, and how the UK is coping is none of your business now is it?!

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 19/04/2020 18:57

I'm a better actress than that... 😂

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/04/2020 18:57

I was wondering this too.

JudyCoolibar · 19/04/2020 18:57

It's a Daily Mail report. They hate Megan for the crime of being not white. Take the whole thing with a massive pinch of salt.

Makeitgoaway · 19/04/2020 18:58

Didn't he promise to withdraw from public life? When's he going to do it?

EthelMayFergus · 19/04/2020 19:00

It was also very fortunate that someone was on hand to take that professional looking photo from right in front of them when they were secretly delivering food packages that had nothing to do with garnering publicity and everything to do with altruism.

Justmuddlingalong · 19/04/2020 19:03

What country was he discussing? The one he left or the one that he's living in? Either way, his comments are irrelevant, useless and attention grabbing...oh wait!

fascinated · 19/04/2020 19:04

For the crime of being attention seeking whiners more like, the both of them

Inspiralcarpetry · 19/04/2020 19:09

Anything they say or do at the moment just makes them look more desperate for attention. Does anyone honestly care what H&M think now about a country they left behind and a role they didn't want?
I'm afraid I do see him now as the (piss) artist formerly known as Prince. Plus hanger on.

MrsTumbletap · 19/04/2020 19:13

Oh god you lot! It's a bloke you have never met, saying (when asked) that the media aren't showing as much of the good stuff you see going on as and showing loads of bad, then mentioning the veteran and praising veterans. How have you all twisted that (like Piers Morgan has) in to something so horrible?

Why are you so frothy over someone you have never met? Strange.

sucha · 19/04/2020 19:16

We’re not interested in what this bloke we’ve never met has to say

WoollyMollyMonkey · 19/04/2020 19:22

Can we just ignore them and hopefully they will go away.

Justmuddlingalong · 19/04/2020 19:24

It's taken a global pandemic to highlight the irrelevance of "celebrities" to the world. Jumping up and down in a look at me way just isn't going to wash anymore. Henry, H, Harry, whatever your current name, why don't you just button it?

Mummyoflittledragon · 19/04/2020 19:29

He’s FOTTFSOF and still he won’t STFU. Something he promised and was apparently dying to do... Mind you, hardly surprising when he’s living in celebrity central. More and more bonkers.
