Is Harry allowed to just move to the USA ? Doesn’t he need a visa ?

That's what I was thinking. My sister had to jump through hoops (American fiance) - as did my aunt whose husband and children are US citizens. It would be nice if he had to go through the same process as everyone else!

What will Harry do all day? I’m sure it will be very exciting for the first year or so mixing with the glitterati, but when Meghan is out acting/modelling/setting up her new fashion empire, what will he do with himself once the newness has worn off and it becomes his new normal? No real friends, no family, no routine, no job, no point.......... It seems to me he has given up so much to laze around the pool with A listers and doing the odd charity gig. Meanwhile Meghan’s profile will soar I hope she really does love him because within a couple of years she won’t need him.

ajandjjmum - Oh, I don't know. Tom Cruise earns millions for one film (that's, what, a couple of hours of entertainment?). We've all (including lurkers) been glued to these threads for weeks, and to very good effect. We are distracted from the unmentionable, we are sniggering, er, amused, we are most definitely entertained. That's not bad going.

If the US, with all their resources, can't get Andrew over there to face questioning, I hardly think the immigration folk are going to batter down Harry's door ... after all he's unlikely to claim welfare, need help with housing or rock up at a public hospital expecting treatment

It seems to me he has given up so much to laze around the pool with A listers and doing the odd charity gig. For all we know, this sounds like a nice, relaxing life to him. Minimal work, lots of lazing and generally enjoying all of the down time. I would imagine becoming a perpetual plus-one might pall after a while, though.

I dont know, I feel really upset by H&M's move. As the world got smaller and poorer for the rest of us, they use their wealth to move at a time we are all standing still, worried sick about the future.

This crisis has shown the gap between the rich and poor, those in overcrowded accomadation vs those who can see out the virus from their well manicured gardens. Salaried vs the gig economy.
