What word would you prefer I use than "classy"? Do I have to check the Thesaurus before I write post to make it acceptable to you? Everyone knows instantly what is meant by the word and you can hardly say any of them are "classy" or worthy of being looked up to. No need to try too hard to be witty out of nothing.

The poor police protection officers presumably having no choice but to be dragged to another country, and one that is a Corona hotspot. Selfish pair.

So how come he can just rock up to the US and say 'Id like to live here'? The man hasn't even got a job! It took my sister years to get her green card. Oh well, the Disney voiceover will come in handy.

Ugh - the article comparing the UK to LA - Eton College and Immaculate Heart (which was my old high school, so please don't slag it off).

Oh yes - LA was ALWAYs the place they were going to move to permanently. I think there would be less annoyance at them if they'd just gone straight there in the first place instead of playing games in Canada trying to leverage the "commonwealth country" angle, annoying the Canadians to the point of refusing to pay their security -except they did for a while without the public knowing.

If they'd just gone straight to LA it would have made some sense as it's M's hometown and her mother is there. The way this has all happened looks like they've been cynically trying to play all the angles possible to see what they could get (keep titles, half in half out duties, Canadians paying for security etc.)

Well they're there now and it's really hard not to look at them as "rent-an-ex-royals"

They’re old news. Even their “cynical ploys” were utterly transparent. Who even cares about them when the world is being battered by a virus? Hilariously, they haven’t been able to capitalise in that except to offer syrupy waffle as “advice”.

No surprise that HAM have moved to LA. Predicted by everyone many threads ago. So much for the whole "I'll never live in the US while Trump's President" spiel and their declaration about splitting their time between Canada and the UK. Apparently Trump's wall doesn't keep out private jets containing ex-royals. Who would have guessed?

I detected tetchiness on the last thread (not entirely unwarranted on account of some rather goady posts). I think quite a few of us are feeling ill or worried or both.

I'm feeling particularly concerned for friends stranded abroad and unable to return to the UK. I would love a private jet to be made available to them. If I have in any way contributed to the cost of the jet transporting the Sussexes from Canada to LA that isn't going to sit well with me.

If anything, the covid outbreak has hastened their journey into irrelevance.

I'd imagine someone is spitting feathers that their exclusive tell all interview with Ellen or Oprah can't happen...............
