Does anyone want a thread for people who are happy for Harry and Meghan?

Just seeing if there’s any interest. I think they have their faults but I think this may turn out to be a good thing long term. Anyone want to join in?

Agreed Laurie. My local branch of SmartWorks now has a long waiting list of volunteers, which happened since Meghan announced she was becoming a patron of it.

I find the state of the UK gutter press terrifying actually. The unchecked power they have is insane. Dropping Leveson was a total and utter disgrace and something that this country will live to regret.

I don't think the statement was directed at the Queen at all. It was just setting straight their side of the story to the press and the Instagram commenter.

I feel sorry for them. My in-laws were not the kindest to us and my husband went NC several years ago. All my fault though apparently. They still tell everyone what a bitch I am and how it won't last 20 years later. They don't see how all the little digs they had about me when I wasn't there hurt him more than me. That however is not the story they're telling.

It’s a terrible shame that they were hounded out. Between them, they had so much to give. But how could anyone live with what the press put them through?

Yep. I really can't understand what they have done to deserve such hate and vilification. I think Piers Morgan has had a huge part to play in this.

I think we're all going to look back at this and think they had a lucky escape from the royal family.
I think the royal family is looking a bit harsh but perhaps this is a play to kind of cut them loose so clearly that it enables them to have the life they want.

I don't think H&M are guilty of all the things they are accused of .

People like drama so it's more fun to take up on a story that the latest update on their website about using the term Royal shows that H&M are fuming ,showing disrespect to the Queen/elderly Gran et etc .

I'm amazed at the endless repetition of insults and how people revel in being uncharitable . Just why ?

If they find the couple and their behaviour so shocking and distasteful why spend so much time rehashing the same old complaints .What's the point ,seems a weird way to it entertain oneself.

This is the thing that I find so hard to fathom: that people seem to actually glory in their dislike of the couple. And again, it astonishes me that MNHQ enables that kind of behavior and attitude.

Can you specify exactly who has bullied whom on this thread? I know the thread was started with the intent of shutting out healthy debate, by inviting only those with a certain mindset or opinion to join in, but that's not how MN works.
I haven't seen any bullying on here - just some fairly mild and fair questions being posed. Or do you want to close that down by alleging bullying?
