A Royal Wedding. Exciting.

OP posts:
HRHCavey · 16/11/2010 14:12

Baroque - a friend of mine, who is a DJ, has already started a Facebook Campaign to get himself booked as DJ for the Royal Wedding!

PrincessFiorimonde · 16/11/2010 14:29

Baroque: might you be the poster formerly known as 'ToccataAndFudge'?

If so, respect for both those names.

FindingMyMojo · 16/11/2010 14:33

bummer - now we have years of this crap

she needs her head read to get involved with this lot.

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 16/11/2010 14:37

Princess - I am indeed.

God a Royal Wedding would be so easy to play for - they always have really (easy) predictable music. Nice one to stick on your resume should you ever decide to move on Grin

superv1xen · 16/11/2010 14:38

she is mad, why the hell has she stuck around so long for a proposal Confused i would have waited a year. 2, tops. pathetic cow :o

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 16/11/2010 14:38

I have to confess though Princess - I thought up neither Toccata nor this one Blush

PrincessFiorimonde · 16/11/2010 14:41

Baroque - but we need a splendid barge and fireworks, don't we?

Fimbo · 16/11/2010 14:43

I think they should get married in St. Andrews.

NoelEdmondshair · 16/11/2010 14:47

expat - you're sounding like a bitter twit.

superv - I get the feeling they decided to marry years ago but have lived together like many couples do for years in order to have a more "normal" life until she becomes a princess. Very sensible to me.

AbsofCroissant · 16/11/2010 14:48

This is what the BBC said about Prince Charles "The Prince of Wales has given a low-key response to the announcement. While on a visit to his model village, Poundbury in Dorset, he barely broke step from his pre-arranged meet and greet to say he was "thrilled, obviously", adding: "They have been practising long enough."

FellatioNelson · 16/11/2010 14:53

I don't give a stuff about royalty expat but I'm a sucker for big diamonds and I like a nice frock. Whose side to be on? Confused I'm vair torn.Sad

expatinscotland · 16/11/2010 14:55

They use taxpayer funds when the Queen is one of the wealthiest women in the world. If that makes me bitter, Noel, can't say I'm bothered.

But please, continue being personally insulting.

FellatioNelson · 16/11/2010 14:55

Ooh yes, I really like a splendid barge as well. Blush

expat, you are losing the battle for hearts and minds. Well, Fellatio's anyway.Grin

expatinscotland · 16/11/2010 14:56

'expat, you are losing the battle for hearts and minds'

Oh, please.

For more and more people, it's going to become a battle to keep the roof over their heads.

Off to the other thread to see how we can get this all put on one thread so it can be more easily hidden.

FellatioNelson · 16/11/2010 14:56

We should put forward Nickelbabe's DH. He has a splendid way with organs apparently.

jugglers · 16/11/2010 14:59

Can't see the media having any respect whatsoever, I'm afraid, gresausageroll judging by the DM link that findingmymojo just posted - the first 2 photos are Kate and Diana in see through clothes and the next two are pap shots of them showering (not together, you understand).

FindingMyMojo · 16/11/2010 15:08

"Every step you take
every move you make
we'll be watching you"

(and comparing you to your dead MIL Gawd bless her)

By The Sun, The DM, The Mirror etc etc etc

FindingMyMojo · 16/11/2010 15:08

ps THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!! (we've been waiting such a long time)

edam · 16/11/2010 15:24

Anyone spotted any bad news those in power are trying to bury today? Ending of the NHS kind of thing? Grin

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 16/11/2010 15:26

not yet - but spotted that Cameron has decided not to employ his \link{http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-11764138\pals} to take photos of him

UnquietDad · 16/11/2010 15:53

I don't like to think about them "practising", thanks, Chaz.

AbsofCroissant · 16/11/2010 16:32

Aw, according to the BBC William gave her his mother's engagement ring.

Nancy66 · 16/11/2010 16:35

I wouldn't want my dead mother in law's ring...

Bue · 16/11/2010 16:39

It's a gorgeous ring but bloody hell, that ring doesn't have a great track record.

Nancy66 · 16/11/2010 16:40

i thought it was a horrible ring - realy gaudy.
