Gotta love cats. Matt hissed at a multipack crisp packet in the kitchen the other day. I don’t know what it had done to offend.

I have noticed Raven hissing at nothing a few times. I think she's just checking her hiss still works. It would be terrible to need it and it to be broken.

Linney hissed at a hairball once.

Lenny hisses at us when we open the front door for him to go out.
He also hisses at (and swipes) our other cats at meal time. On the whole the other cats ignore him.
He really is a bit of a git. 🤣

Rum, Vixen is completely right to test it. Just like a smoke alarm, best to test so it works when you need it

It's Raven testing it. Vixen doesn't need to test it, she uses it on me at least once an hour, usually when I ask her to move off my shoulders 😁

My beautiful non-hissy Frederick has claimed a new box. I won a Tefal/Bonne Maman heart shaped pancake pan (I don't make pancakes, I certainly don't have anyone to make heart shaped ones for!). Raven inspected the pan, Freddie claimed the box.

I used to enter loads of competitions and I won lots of things.

I never won a biggie though (as we compers used to call large sums of money, holidays, cars or cottages).

I had an email newsletter I think, advertising the competition so just entered my details.

I used to be massively into entering competitions, hundreds a week, and I did have some biggies. Two holidays to Jamaica, one to Hong Kong, one to La Gomera and Tenerife. I also won a box of all the different Webbox cat treats from Twitter once, that was a very popular prize in my house! Over the last few years I have lost my comping mojo but I'm trying to get it back, especially now I work from home in a job where I tend to get a lot of downtime.

Cats would make fantastic personal trainers! Just think how great they are at motivating us to do stuff already.
