Wouldn't have surprised me, she was a quite remarkable cat 🤣. (I still miss her).

I miss all of my late lamented cats.
I'm sure that's normal.

Love the idea of a Rogues' Gallery of Dead Cats.
I regularly browse old packs of photos (as evidenced from the recently published pics).
We also have a large painting on our bedroom wall, by an artist friend of ours, of our first three (dead) cats. I wake up and see this each morning. 🤣

There is something Arnolfini like about that painting.

Bloody racket just going on in our back garden. Realised that TC was having a run-in with the ginger cat I've seen a few times. Basil was outside just watching. 🤣

Bloody racket going on here too, except it's just Velvet living her Velvety life. She actually just sat around outside screaming at nobody in particular before running to the catflap and screaming as she squirmed through the catflap (it's quite difficult to describe what she does, but let's say it would probably be suitable for a headshy eel rather than a cat). I know and accept your advice and I know you're right in the long term but I'm still fighting the Velvet battle and today she left my mother's very warm and comfy room and chose - don't even ask why because I did and she just meowed - the wet towel I'd just removed from my head after a shower.

I have a Rogues Gallery too - it's the windowsill on the landing so I see them everyone I go up or down the stairs 🥰

I love your painting too Grumpy. I need to be brave and try and paint Leroy, but I don't think I'd do his fluff justice. My forté seems to be smooth coated dogs 😂

I wish I had pictures of all our previous cats - only have decent pictures from last 10-15 years and have always had a cat since I was 20 (now nearly 60)

If I were willing to have a look through hundreds of water-damaged boxes, I could probably find a few. We have a few of a cat from about 1970 - a cat named Perseus and one called Little Boots. I've definitely got some of Mr N and I'll try to dig them out. Just have my photos on my phone and only logged in here.

No prizes for guessing which cat licked out the cereal bowl this morning.

I don't have a rogues' gallery because I am new to cat slavery, but I do have a gazillion photos of the tribe.

Fettuccine blepped today, but I failed to capture it for posterity... And he does it so rarely.

And in a milestone breakthrough update, Tortellini aka The Ladyship is sitting on the table with me while I work, purring and demanding head scratches. This is a total first!
