Vixen has had a very busy morning sleeping, napping, and dozing. She is now on "her" pillow in the sun, resting before the next snooze.

I think Vixen and Walter should get together and run Relaxation/Yoga/Meditation classes by example.
They'd make a fortune 😁.

Vixen says she would but it sounds like a bit of an effort. She doesn't know if she has time between all her naps, drooling sessions, and the occasional parroting on my shoulder.

I'm not entirely sure that cats need classes in relaxation.

I was thinking more of them running classes for us puny humans 🤣.

If anyone is a hot chocolate fan and also a praline fan, may I please introduce you to the praline Options? It is like the chocolate seashells and green triangle got together and made a (healthy) hot chocolate baby.

Seeing as my most of my body has massive dislike of casein and whey I'd rather you didn't.

It goes without saying that she jumped off when she felt like it, and not before.

Well that was unexpected.
DH saw both cats admiring 2 little goldfinches. Eko wanted to enjoy them up close in particular. Did ‘the run’ towards it. And which point I sprinted out of the house and shouted at him. Goldfinch must have had its short life flash before it as the murder mittens flashed past it. Eko jumped a good 5 foot in the air. I’ve never seen a cat do that before!
He had some choice looks for me and is now locked inside and is very very cross.
Not hugely convinced that goldfinch learned to stay away from this garden.

@LostCats I had to read that twice as the first time I read goldfinch as goldfish. I was very confused at the image of Eko leaping in the air to catch a goldfish 😁

I was even grumpier than usual when one of ours left a goldfinch corpse on our doormat last year (might gave been TC of course).
I've suggested to the cats that they should go for the parakeets but needless to say they take no notice of me...

Shoot Eat all the bluejays parakeets you want, if you can hit catch ʼem, but remember it's a sin to kill a mockingbird goldfinch.

Set the cat flap so they can’t go out from 5.30-7am now (is that dawn hunting time?)
But I did let Boone out after the unsuccessful goldfinch leap. Eko was confined to barracks and was so cross at the unfair but as poor Boone can’t even walk properly anymore let alone leap I felt the birds are safe with him.

Speaking of jumping cats, do anyone else's furry hellbats leap on their boobs and use them as a springboard to the back of the sofa?
Socks has started to do it now she's coming out of her shell, and although she's skinny compared with Matt, who would break several of my ribs, it hurts!

@Papergirl1968 Vixen will jump from the back of the chair onto my boobs if I'm on the sofa. She's as light as a feather usually but turns into a ten ton dead weight when she jumps.

I swear there's some evil physics mojo that goes on that multiplies a cat's weight by a million if your boobs are involved.

Finlay is admiring himself tonight - he is getting much more active since accident as we are also back to climbing on everything
