You were honoured, Lana!
I get groomed by Socks' little rough tongue. Can't say I particularly enjoy it but I appreciate her intent!

It's funny, I just can't think of Ollie as being old at all! Between here and Facebook, he just seems like a daft young cat. Not quite a kitten, but definitely not old! I will make it over there to meet him one of these days. I'm only half an hour away!

Definitely come and have a brew
Paws might even turn up

Allergictoironing · 10/03/2023 21:06

Somebody was lurking on the windowsill behind the curtains when I went upstairs to visit him this evening 😀

Only about the 2nd time I've seen him outside his igloo...

Supersimkin2 · 10/03/2023 21:39

Progress!

Papergirl1968 · 11/03/2023 10:37

These don't look great. At least the ones I posted a pic of the other day were Webbox.
So glad Tobias is emerging. And I can't express how happy I am to see Paws getting his...well, paws...further and further under Rebel's table. Not to mention her bed and her bin.

I bet little Cedric would enjoy one in an Easter egg hunt. Can’t see Prince rousing himself when he knows all he has to do for a snack-ette is jump on my head.

How are you feeling Paper?

I’ve got guests in a min. Prince knows and he’s been saving the wee up to delight and astonish the company with his prowess. He can go on for so long even the most polite strangers are left silent with awe as Niagara belts out of the bathroom.

I think Morticia has melted 🤣🤣

Morticia is looking gorgeous as always.

Sybil is equally surprised that the radiator is on in our house this morning.
(And yes - before anyone comments, I know we still have to get rid of the Christmas tree.)

I'm good, thanks, Lana. Still on antibiotics for an infection in the wound, and the dog helpfully sneezed right into it this morning, but otherwise ok. Tired now though as I can't stop waking up every day at 4am and staying awake till 6am then going back to sleep.
Everyone else ok? Defiantly? Are you on the mend?

Supersimkin2 · 11/03/2023 19:31

You’re definitely sounding on the home stretch Paper. Dog sneezes a foolproof folk remedy, possibly.

Prince did a wee to impress my nephew’s GF and then rolled round flirting with her to make sure she loved him more than DN.

Radiator cats the best.

Papergirl1968 · 11/03/2023 19:59

I hope she was suitably bowled over by his awesomeness, Lana!
I saw on our local Facebook page that a cat has been shot with an air gun literally round the corner from us. It will live but the vet bill could reach around £9k. Bastards.

RumNotRun · 11/03/2023 22:43

Vixen decided that the jug has better water than the fountain does (despite the jug being used to fill the fountain)

Tell the police re the shooter. They’ll get the £ back and put the little scrote on a list he won’t ever come off.

Supersimkin2 · 11/03/2023 23:33

Vixen looks lovely in that pic - fabulous multi fur.

Defiantlynot41 · 12/03/2023 00:10

Thanks for asking @Papergirl1968 . On the mend but still some problems with my eyes. Cat pictures definitely a sight for sore eyes!

Papergirl1968 · 12/03/2023 05:51

They certainly are, Defiantly.
Vixen is beautiful and very appropriate named, Rum. Displaying admirable cat logic there too.
Saw this on Facebook and thought of you and dear Prince, Lana.😂

I love that meme, Toad likes to make me play that game. Little bugger.

Vixen is a... special kind of cat, but the only one of the tribe who doesn't run away from visitors. She particularly loves men in uniform as discovered when a policeman came to take a statement from me. She would not leave him alone 😁

I also discovered last night that she likes doughnuts. She stole a bite from one I was holding, cheeky cat.

Papergirl1968 · 12/03/2023 11:17

Can't say I blame her, Rum. Men in uniform and doughnuts - she clearly has excellent taste!

coastergirl · 12/03/2023 16:27

Doesn't Ollie like men in uniform too? I have a vague memory.

Allergictoironing · 12/03/2023 21:36

Mini break through this afternoon.

I always offer Tobias a finger to sniff when I visit him. Initially it was at a couple of inches, then a bit closer each day & was down to just a couple of mm last few days. But this afternoon I actually touched his nose briefly!!!

No hiss, no sudden panicked drawing away, just acceptance. We're back to a couple of mm this evening but still a definite step forwards.

In other Tobias news, his poo is definitely less stinky than it was at first. He's on near enough the same food as he had at the rescue, though his dry here is indoor & not sure if they feed that or standard, wet the same, so I'm putting that down to slightly less stressed. His eyes also have a more gentle, less panicked look these days.

Papergirl1968 · 12/03/2023 21:43

Aww, that's wonderful Allergic.
Softly softly catchee monkey (or cat in your case).

Allergictoironing · 12/03/2023 21:47

Oh I expect it's going to take months, then hopefully one day he'll suddenly decide that maybe I can be trusted.

Supersimkin2 · 13/03/2023 00:33

Welcome Tobias!

@Rebel2 if it wasn't for the fur colour I would swear this was Ollie stealing yoghurt www.instagram.com/reel/CpvEbjwg_Jo/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

Ollie would 100% do that and not be mad at it Grin
