Welcome @ItsMeHiImTheProblem! Adorable pusskies - what are their names?

The black moggy is 11 and called Kaspar, the blue point siamese is nearly one and called Misha and the red point is seven months and called Ziggy!

Ooooh another Gomez! How exciting! Can't seem to post photos of the idiot sisters today... will add them asap

YesItsMeIDontCare · 15/12/2022 23:04

Hi Squidge 👋🏻 Clearly a cat of great sense, and with a lovely fluffy tum there!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 15/12/2022 23:20

Been over to FWK's house this evening.
The 'kittens' are now about 11 months old. Cedric is still quite small (albeit a bit if a porker), Doris however looks huge and at 4.5kg already weighs more than Sybil, Karl or Lenny.

OMG Grumpy, those kittens just get cuter

OnTheRunWithMannyMontana · 15/12/2022 23:36

Ah I lost this thread and haven't been around for a while - sorry!

We have just added a new baby to our family. He's a little black and white rescue who had been overlooked for a number of weeks because he's black and white and was past the "cute kitten" stage.

Ivy (oldest cat) has started grooming and washing him tonight and he has settled in so well with her and Betsy.

This is our new baby Alfie ❤️❤️❤️

I’m worried I’d be here under false pretences. I don’t have a cat!!!! Boo hiss!!!

My old boy died last year after a bout of triaditis, suspect tumours and then a year of being diabetic.

I am divorcing and until I move next year I’m going to wait to get cats. I’d really like to foster the ones that find it hard to get adopted. Until then to satisfy my ‘cat needs’, I’m going to start cat sitting in the new year.

I like dogs as well, but cats are my favourite. I’m a natural born ‘cat pleaser’, I don’t mind the stinky eye and the bum in your face. Or the cuddle that draws blood, or the little protest turds I’d find if I dared to go away. Or the dead (and live)mice, shrews etc. I got to be a dab hand at rescuing them.

My idea of heaven would be to be trapped in bed with at least four and more cats snoring and snuffling to their hearts content.

Swap? 😬 Every night at the moment (until they find a new favourite sleeping place) I have four furry felines surrounding me in bed. It saves on heating but makes me feel guilty when I turn over cause they all storm off in a huff, only to return 30secs later 😁

I have five and two foster kittens. The two foster kittens have been with us for three months and DH is besotted with them . I've put in application to adopt them... Watch this space.

Welcome to the world of 7 cats. Well, 6 3/4 in my case as one only has 3 legs

Be careful what you wish for. Sybil lying stretched out full length between Mrs Grumpy and me. Karl at my feet to the left, Basil by my feet to the right, and Lenny deciding it would be fun to say hello at 4.00 in the morning by jumping on my pillow purring and 'face bopping', does not make for a comfortable night's sleep.
I suppose I should be thankful for snall mercies, they don't generally snore.
Bloody cats 😹

Very tired here. Got up in dead of night by furry face rubbing mine and urgent squeaks.

Stagger out to investigate, led eagerly by waving ginger tail. Home secure.

Reach kitchen. M&S ham in bowl at risk of running low!!!!!

Back in bed. Noisy chewing and grunty purrs from kitchen.

Prince can’t mew properly - it’s eep eep eep, like a car alarm reversing. Very, very effective esp as he is 7kg of macho muscle - tiny baby kitten cheeps work every time.

Hoping he comes in for a cuddle shortly, fur all chilly from morning patrol. Nice nap in order.

Allergictoironing · 16/12/2022 08:55

Talking of FWK, mine sent me these the other day. Similar age to Grumpy's FWK, not exactly tiny either!

And this is Cleo, who is DD's rescue cat, who once managed to tear down a piece of skirting board to get at a mouse she thought was behind it.

Cleo once helped Sebastian remove his cone when the vet wanted it kept on for several days.

She is very, very feisty.

She also got annoyed with the cat flap for some reason and managed to pull the whole thing off the door.
