Love the carol singing cats..
I'm pretty sure that Sybil was quietly humming 'Quelle est cette odeur agreable' with a smirk on her face after a vist to the litter tray yesterday.

May I join? Only had Katcha for 4 months, she's a rescue from where I volunteer. I've had several cats and she is the most affectionate and tactile by a long chalk.
There's something a bit Miss Marple about her too.

Katcha looks strangely familar 🙀

In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan ...

Yep, Katcha’s part of a crime dynasty with feelers in every type of dodgy dealing stretching across the planet. And very pretty.

Can anyone think why Prince has just got into my lovely hot bubble bath?

Can anyone think why Prince has just got into my lovely hot bubble bath?

🤣🤣 No idea, but what was his reaction? Has he just settled down for a nice soak with a glass of wine?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 23/12/2022 10:31

They have left room for Sybil and TC!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 23/12/2022 10:47

Also, I love the Feral Angels.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 23/12/2022 11:17

I have a book of Christmas Carols for Cats, here's 2 for your amusement 😁

Ollie has returned having trodden in something that stinks Envy
I've baby wiped his paws and he's very indignant about it all

Supersimkin2 · 23/12/2022 17:06

Who is the author of these fabulous carols for caterwaulers? Genius.

It’s my birthday. Got a full price prawn sandwich in M&S. Life is sweet.

Defiantlynot41 · 23/12/2022 17:27

Happy birthday Super. Hope Prince is giving you lots of birthday smooches? (If only to get a bit of prawn sandwich, one of my former cats used to be very attentive when I had a prawn sandwich and had been known to reach a paw up to hook a prawn out if I wasn't fast enough).

Papergirl1968 · 23/12/2022 18:01

Happy birthday, Lana!
Back to the vet with Mattn for his follow up appointment. They seem happy it is only a UTI and not diabetes or anything more serious. They've given us some painkillers and we have another appointment next Friday.

Supersimkin2 · 23/12/2022 18:18

Oh Paper, financial agony at Cmas, but of course. But what a relief it’s not serious. Hope the Magnificent enjoys his painkillers and a nice healing kip on his darling Mum.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 23/12/2022 18:58

Happy birthday, Lana!

Allergictoironing · 23/12/2022 19:11

Happy Birthday Lana! 🍰🍾 You'll be catching up to me soon!

Good news about Matt.

Boycat started on his appetite stimulants last night, apparently it takes a couple of days to kick in. Read up on potential side effects which include becoming more vocal - may take to wearing my noise cancelling gaming headphones more often!

Papergirl1968 · 23/12/2022 19:17

Yes, Lana, the bill is heading towards the £300 point already.
The vet said Matt was the biggest cat she'd ever seen. 😮
But that weight loss had to be very slow in cats otherwise it could be dangerous.
I swear Matt smirked at that.

I have found some treats that the tribe love as much as Dreamies. They're aptly called Bonkers. They do look exactly like Dreamies, some of my cats have ignored own brand Dreamies before, but they loved these. I haven't looked where you can buy them, they got sent to me in a box of free stuff from TryIt. Vixen the Fussy says she gives them 9/10, the missing point is because there weren't any more for her to eat.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 23/12/2022 20:52

@RumNotRun - Pickles from Pets At Home are also similar and much adored by Leroy so I can recommend those for your floofs.

Here is Pickard, who does not live with us but might as well because he comes round every day looking for treats

Mine looks just like yours! She's a bit fluffier and very beautiful. She's a biter though and trusts no one but me...🥲 bitter sweet!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 24/12/2022 07:38

Happy belated birhday Super. 🍷🍰

One possible side effect of Mirataz is cats can be (even) more affectionate. This was evidenced this morning at Boycat's bed cuddle, where he was drooling while purring so much he left a puddle on the duvet. Note that drooling is something he does when very very happy anyway, so not worried about it happening just the sheer volume!

Ah well, was due to change the duvet cover anyway.
